Review from Erika G.
Shackleton's Log: 14 November 2009. A crisp, sunny fall day merely illuminates what's to come. Winter, ah yes. Time to get the Endurance out of drydock, pack up some beef jerky, limes and ale, wrangle the sled dogs and get out onto the ice. Sled dogs love to romp in the snow, and bark at the icy waters of Lake Michigan. The crew is in good spirits and ready to explore.
The sled dog adds: My slightly neurotic, yet law abiding owner will not let me off leash. Ever. Last summer, my dog fantasies were answered with the building of the fenced-in Dog Friendly Area in the north corner of Foster Beach. Here I can run free, at top GSD speed, on the beach, sniff smelly dirty stuff, lick other dog's left-behind pee and drink lake water. Since I'm the Ultimate Alpha, I like to have the joint to myself and rule the lake with an iron tail. I come here late night, and it's MINE, mine all mine. Oh crap, another dog arrives and bums my chi. Time to go, until tomorrow, I'll be back, b*tches.
