In Lake George area, this has to be the best resort there is - esp. location-wise. It's situated just a few feet away from the lake shore... all the rooms facing the lake have a grand view of the beautiful scenery.
Rooms are quite nicely furnished and neatly kept. The beds were rather comfortable and the bathroom was clean, modern, with good quality toiletries and generously supplied towels.
I also loved that it provided all guests with a morning paper at the door each morning. Perfect for having a little morning coffee outside, overlooking the serene lake, and starting a day at a slow, relaxing pace.
Will definitely revisit next time I'm in town!

No, nuh uh, never again. The location was great, right on the main strip, hence the two stars, but everything else was just awful. The room was straight from the 60's, dark and dreary. The bathroom was funky and the shower felt like a fire hydrant. The walls were paper thin and you could clearly hear everything that was going on around you. The street noise was so loud I don't think I slept at all.
We had to stay here for a wedding, and we got a discounted rate because of that. It was overpriced at our $120/night and I don't see how anyone would ever pay the $400 and up rate. Stay clear!
