If you're familiar with the Evangelical Christian tradition you're sure to have heard the Gospel of John 3:16, which reads "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." This verse sums up why some Christians believe that if you do not claim Jesus as your Lord and Savor, you will not have access to Heaven after you parish; some also use this verse to support prophesizing.
The reason why I bring this up in my Forever 21 review is because I just noticed that "John 3:16" is suspiciously printed on every Forever 21 bag. I've been a long time fan of their cheap and hip fashion, but until my last shopping extravaganza, I hadn't noticed the scripture on my bags. Now I don't know what to think about Forever 21. Sure, I still dig the clothes, but is my money supporting the usual corporate greed? Or are some proceeds of my purchases going to faith-based operations? If so, what are their beliefs? To be honest, I don't know if I'll stop shopping here, but this new discovery has definitely given me something to think about...

Not my favorite Forever 21, but I did buy my first pairs of skinny jeans here. Mmm.
There are a ton of clothes here. A lot. And a lot of people. That means messy racks and tons of associates who are trying to fix the racks in a neverending vicious cycle.
I thought waiting in line to try on clothes would take forever, but the girls were fast and efficient. It also helps to have the glaring eyes of 20 customers pointed at you at every second.
I like the fact that this one is big. It gives a lot of selection, even if a lot of the clothes are shabby and don't fit right. You just have to learn to see the gems.
On my last trip: I was going to buy a necklace, but right as I walk up to the counter, a chain link breaks. Boo. I know their accessories are cheap and all, but I really wanted that necklace. It's okay Forever 21. I'll buy a super cheaply made necklace for $5 next time!
True... not the best quality of clothes... but it's AFFORDABLE!!!
This particular location is pretty SWANK....
I enjoy it because it's like a free for all!...
So much clothes...stuffed EVERYWHERE!!!! My Girlfriend at the time... was a sight to be seen... It was like poetry in motion... with the elbows, biting and scratching....

This is one of those places that's just hit and miss and you REALLY have to be in the mood to scavenge through rack and racks and MORE racks to find that perfect little gem.
My friends and I call our items from here as "Throw-away-clothes" seeing as for the most part the stuff is cheaply made and you'll be lucky to get a few wears out of it before it falls apart. Not ALL the stuff is that way, just generally speaking.
Now, the good part about "Throw-away-clothes" is that you can buy something that's "in" right now and by the time it goes out of style...you won't be sad that your item has gone tot he way-side. It's also nice if your unsure about a trend...best to try it on and if it doesn't work for you...well, you didn't spend a fortune trying to look hip.
My favorite items here tend to be the tops...if you're over the age of say 15 and have some child-bearin' hips as I do, the pants (other than sweats) just won't fit ya right. The tops can also run small so don't fret if you move up a number...or 3. Dresses are also great...some wonderful shifts for the sun or to be worn over jeans!!
Prepare for some long lines at times as it's on the same floor at H & M so the crowds scamper back and forth from one to the other!!

The clothes are cheaply made in a sweatshop in some third world country and will probably fall apart in a few weeks. The sizing is WAY off and sometimes what looks cute on a hanger will not fit anywhere near my body. The stores are crowded and customer service is non-existent.
Even with all these complains, I've found some real gems at Forever 21. This location is the second best Forever 21 stores that I have ever been in (#1 is in San Francisco). It's big, pretty well laid out and the dressing rooms are airy. I have walked out of plenty of stores for having stuffy dressing rooms.
Definitely come here with a lot of time, patience, and an open mind. You definitely won't find a perfect pair of jeans at Forever 21, but you might find a cute dress that you didn't know you needed, to wear when the weather gets warm again...
I am convinced that Koreans are the new black / pink / yelp / whatever of the moment must have trend.
Case in point, Forever 21, started by Don Chang and his wife.
Case in point 2, Pinkberry, started by Hye Kyung Hwang.
Case in point 3, Momofuku owner, chef and this year's Beard Foundation's Rising Chef award recipient, David Chang.
That's it. Just a plug for my people. You all know what Forever 21's about.

THE BEST FOREVER 21 EVER!!! You better have some time on your hands when you decide to peruse the merchandise in this baby! Not only will you find what you're looking for, you'll leave with a couple extra things you definitely don't need, but are so darn CUTE! Some of the stuff doesn't fall apart after one washing either! BONUS!
Cheapo accessories and obvious knock off pleather bags abound...
The only ways I can shop at this store, is if:
. I wasn't in a hurry
. I had all the patience/time in the world
. I know exactly what I'm looking for
. I knew the U.S. women's pant size equivalents to European women's pant sizes
This particular Forever21 is beyong overwhelming! The music is BLARING and the store is just huge. What I listed above pretty much applies to all Forever21 stores, but this XXI is too much for me. I cannot be in there for more than 5mins. I only go bc the prices are great and the clothes are cute, but given the choice, I'd rather shop across the way at H&M or 2 floors down at Heritage 1981.
Lots of cute, and cheap trendy tops with many colors and patterns. Nice slightly fitted camis, 98% cotton and 2% spandex, really great deal, less than $4 bucks in lots of vibrant colors. I picked up lots of stuff and said to my shopping friend, look - how cute! Purchased cotton / silk top for $25. The fabrics used isn't bad at all. Long lines at cashier, as to be expected on a weekend. High energy store, with a lively soundtrack, fun to browse and shop in. A big store, especially for a Forever 21 chain. Someone looking to add lots of cute, trendy items to their wardrobe could spend lots of money here. Great place for the under 25 year old crowd. Three and a half stars, rounded up, for the variety, trendy fashion and prices.

I had to be carried out on a stretcher. Not literally but emotionally and shopping-ally...this is a great Forever store. They have gotten so high end in the recent years that it's a top store to hit on my list. I go here when I need to shop and I mean need to shop. You don't have to spend a lot but when you buy a few really trendy items and mix them up with your super chic Dior sunglasses (if you're me or like me) then you look like a million bucks! I haven't been 21 in a while but I definitely am Forever XXI!!!

I go to Forever XXI to find clothes that resemble ones I see in fashion magazines that I can't afford. Most of the time they don't let me down, if you have some sort of event to go to Forever XX1 is a one stop shop for the outfit and accessories. They now also carry a men's line with very trendy pieces.

I've disliked Forever 21 for a long time. I'm a little bitter because I can no longer fit into their size large jeans (their size L jeans are like a size 6, okay?) BUT XXI is the redeeming quality to the Forever 21 empire. This version is classier than its el-cheapo-21 counterpart (there is a difference!) and the styles are cuter and last longer. Amazing. Good for club clothes and trendy pieces that will go out of style within a year.

I can't walk into a Forever 21 and have the same amount of money in my bank account upon exit. It's not physically possible.
If you've never heard of Forver 21 before (where have you been? for one) it's a clothing store for mostly the ladies - although they've just recently launched a mens line. The clothing is relatively inexpensive, which sometimes shows in the materials and construction, but is modern and I'll just say "cute" because I'm lazy and unimaginative today.
Each style is usually made in a limited number of sizes of that specific color. This can be good or bad. Yay: there aren't that many girls walking around in the same dress. Boo: if they're out of your size you might be SOL.
I know it's a chain and all but maybe it's the fancy Roman name, I dunno, but I think this store the best Forever 21 in the Los Angeles area. I think because it's so big. Yeah, size matters.

i don't care what anyone says....i love this place. when you walk in, you get bombarded with messy racks of colorful clothing, a long wait in the dressing room, and most clothes you pick up will probably need a good ironing or steaming. but it's a great place to get up-to-the-date fashions for considerably less. hey, nothing's free, right? y'gotta do a little work to save a few bucks.
what else i love is that if they don't have my size in what i'm looking for here, i just walk down a couple levels to the former Rampage spot and lo-and-behold! another Forever 21! with two spots in the same mall, i normally don't leave empty handed.
my friend tells me that she can't understand how i can dress in such poor quality clothes. "they fall apart after you wear them twice!" she complains. but whatever! normally, i get tired of something after wearing it twice anyways, so for me...it's a win-win situation.
