Michael is the best. Really thoughtful guy who will take the time to work with you no matter you skill level or size of purchase.
I bought a set of floor model Taylor Made clubs from Golfsmith. They were standard length and I knew I needed to have them extended. Golfsmith actually quoted me an outrageous price while I was being helped* in the store. (*and by helped, I mean a few grunts in-between attending to rich tourists).
That's when I found Fore! Seasons.
Not only did I get get my clubs extended for a very reasonable fee, but found a permanent club fitter for the foreseeable future.
Honestly, if you are thinking of investing in a new set of clubs - give Michael a call first. The attention and customization you'll get is light years beyond anything you'll find in a big box store.
Michael reshafted my driver and fairway wood for me per the exact specs that I had provided him with. I live in San Jose and there are tons of clubmakers around here but I still sent my clubs to Michael. Why? His workmanship and attentional to details are top notch and his proactive customer-oriented attitude is equally impressive. Very knowledgable in how the golf clubs work. One of the nicest person I've ever met as well! I am soon having him evaluate my cameron putter to better fit my putting strokes. Give him a call. You will be impressed.
After reading the reviews on Yelp, I emailed Michael about getting my putter shortened. He responded the same day with a friendly, informative email. I called the next day and set up an appointment.
I am new to golf and received a nice hand-me-down putter from my dad. I knew that I needed to have the putter shortened, and I figured that someone would just have to chop a few inches off the end of it. I was totally wrong!
Michael spent nearly an hour with me studying my putting stance, how I held and positioned the putter, etc. to determine the optimal length for my putter. He explained the different factors that determine whether a club really fits you, and checked multiple times to make sure that my new putter length would be right for me.
I am really psyched about my "new" putter now, and I will definitely return to Michael for any further club adjustments. He made me feel like a valued customer right from the beginning. When I showed up for my appointment, there was another gentleman there who was probably going to spend a lot more money than I was, but Michael treated us both with equal respect and kept his appointment with me.
I highly recommend Michael at Fore Seasons Golf! His commitment to service is exceptional.

I was shopping for some custom clubs to replace my hand me down set and Michael set me up with Wishon irons and Wishon 919 driver and Swing Science 3 wood & hybrid.
I spent a considerable investment, but I love the clubs.
Michael works out of his garage, so don't expect super fancy computer equipment and video cameras. But do expect his years of experience and dedication to his work.
I found Fore! Seasons Golf last year when I moved to the East Bay. A great place fore anything golf. Grips, shafts, custom fitting it's all there. Mike Clark takes great pride in his workmanship and it shows in your clubs. Let him rejuvenate your clubs! You won't go anywhere else after!
Michael is the best! I am brand new to the sport of golf, and he took the time to meet with me, talk about my relationship to the game, explain the mechanics of the clubs to me, and guide me through my club selection. He made me a beautiful set of irons and a hybrid, all for an incredibly reasonable price. He's a true enthusiast, very honest and not a "salesman" at all...trust me, trust him- he's worth the visit!
