I laughed when my brother told me he was going to play bingo. I thought geez, I know you're getting old but NOT that old! He finally got me to go play and man I must say I had a delightful time. It's not like the old bingo where you gotta dab every single square. This is the high class, sophisticated bingo with machines that resemble lap tops and a calculator keyboard. It's all automated and you get to play like 750 cards!
You also get to purchase side games. These games can make you or break you. At $1 for scratcher like tickets, you can get a handful of bunk tickets or get additional boards to play, or even win an instant prize. I actually played tonight and hit two bingos! This spot is on fire. The first bingo I had to share the $250 prize with 17 others. A whopping $13 per person. Hey, it's better than not winning. The second bingo I won $72, the $250 was chopped 3 ways. Oh well, it's crowded what do you expect? Heck, even my dad hit a bingo tonight. He had to chop his winnings too, but only one other person it. $125 ain't bad at all.
The food stand is also pretty good. I think it's called Door Prize Snack Bar. It's the usual greasy spoon but they offer a lot of different specials. It's on a rotating menu so not the same specials are offered each night.

Ghetto faboulous lol thats all Im gonna say.... I never win, its always packed in there and its gross..... But on that note the food they serve there is pretty good I enjoy it everytime...The staff in the food area are super sweet I love those lil ladys!!!!!!! So the food area I give 5 stars and the bingo hall get's no loooveee!

$35 dollars for the laptop and 10 $1000 games. The scrathchers are fun especially knowing that the chance of hitting one is pretty good.
I played bing there a couple of times and never won but I did notice that there are a LOT of mulitple winners there. Durant Square is much better - see my review for that one!
I went for the first time during the week of my birthday in early December because my mom kept telling me about how its free to play during your birthday week and I'm not one to turn down free anything. I went with some hesitation because I kept imagining a musty room full of old people playing a boring game. To my surprise it turned out to be nothing like that. Immediately I noticed the amount of younger folks that worked there and that were playing as well. Really this has to be like the blue collar united nations or something, I mean there were folks from all ages and ethnicity's and everyone I talked to was super friendly. Another great surprise was the food, never in my life would I have expected the chicken wings at a bingo hall to be some of the best wings I ever had. I've been back to this spot several times now and have even won a few games. Good folks, bomb chicken wings and several $1000 jackpots, how could I not love this place? Just like Chris from the bingo hall says "We have the best prices and biggest jackpots in town, we ask that you please shop and compare!!!" He's talking to you Durant Square....
