FANTASTIC prices on crazy expensive shoes that I can't afford anyway.  The $1200 Alexander McQueen beauties I tried on may have been half price, but they're still about $500 more than I'm used to paying for shoes.
Someday. . . . .
In any case, Footcandy had better prices than anywhere else; even online.  That's impressive.
Service was tolerant of our excited girl hijinx, even though it looked like it had the potential to be a little Pretty Woman-esque.  Meaning you know; that they'd treat us like cheap, out-of-their-league-shoe-trying-on-whores.  Luckily someone bought some Jimmy Choos to save face.

I just got my wedding shoes here, so of course I'm pretty excited about this place. I had no idea it existed until I searched "manolo" on Yelp, and up it popped. I'd been searching for yellow shoes but had pretty much given up on that plan since it's October, and nobody's stocking something that summery, but I got lucky here. Footcandy still had some summer styles in, all at 50% off, and I found PERFECT shoes for far less than I was expecting to pay!

It's not a huge store, so they don't have too many styles of each brand, but the selection of designers is relatively broad and ranges from the typical top-end names (Manolo, Jimmy Choo, Louboutin, I could go on but I'm starting to drool) to lesser known ones like Luciano Padovan and Pura Lopez. There's also more selection on their website. The space is nice and open, and I had great service from the girl who was working there. They have amazing prices on older merchandise - an entire section devoted to shoes I've lusted over for the past few months was labeled as $100-$300. Unfortunately I don't get to buy designer shoes for every day use, but next time I'm in the market I'll definitely come back.

Wow?! Really?! What's with the four negative reviews, each mentioning how FABULOUS the Nordstrom's shoe section is? Can you say TROLL? Have you been to Nordstrom's lately? Well, I have plenty of times in the last few weeks. If you like tacky gladiator sandals and Tory Burch (FUG) then you'll find yourself right at home at Nordstrom's. Sure, Nordie's carries a super, limited selection of Louboutins, but the pickings are slim to none.

Anyways - now on to Footcandy. I love shoes and will always pay more for quality footwear. Thankfully, Footcandy carries some of my favorite designers such as Jimmy Choo, Louboutin, Pura Lopez and Pedro Garcia.

The sales gal that assisted me was very friendly and attentive. No attitude whatsoever. She kindly helped me with all of my shoe selections and I walked away with a sweet pair of purplish Pura Lopez peep toes. Regularly $345 on sale for $207.

I'll share a little secret that you may not know about Footcandy. It's called Carolyn's Closet. The owners sell their gently used designer footwear well below original retail. Lucky me, because most of the shoes are just my size.

Strut!

I was a bit nervous entering this store. I thought I would have a "Selena" moment and the people working here would totally talk about me behind my back, questioning why I was even in the store to begin with.

NOPE! The women that worked here were so nice! They didn't have my size in a particular shoe that I wanted so they called their other store to find it. The other store wasn't picking up, so she told me to leave my name and number and she would personally call again the next day to hunt them (my shoes) down for me! ... And she did! She called me the next day to tell me that she found them, had them delivered to the Santana Row store and would call me as soon as they came in. Three or so days later and there they were!

Their selection of shoes and handbags are AMAZING! They definitely have a variety of "special" shoes, different than those typical styles found at big-named department stores.

we went there on a fluke.
it was supposed to be a playdate and only a pass-by but We had to stop.

daughters whined but they popped their eyes when they saw the pretty colors and shoes.  our 8.5 & 10 yrs old daughters started to try on the shoes and the assistants did not break out a sweat.

we were too busy drooling over the  shoes and the 50% off sales tag...
we spent over an hour there and now the daughters want to go back there for their "playdate".  the assistants never stared or gave gasps when the girls tried on their designer shoes (regular price) .

it was fun for the mamas and their daughters.  ahhhhh, truly a bonding moment :)

Calling all shoe divas, Footcandy has finally opened up a new location at Santana Row!

This is probably the one store on the Row that would kill my credit. The love of my life is here, Christian Louboutin, and I can't restrain myself from slipping on pairs of those red soled beauties. And you can find Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Oscar de la Renta, Giuseppe Zanotti, Alexander McQueen, Sergio Rossi and Sigerson Morrison here. Sigh... all these men at Santana Row -- you can't live with them, you can't live without them.

What a shame. This place would have been a solid 4 stars for good selection and okay sale prices, but I can't tolerate rude salespeople who think they are better than everyone else. I'm talking to you, young asian hipster female.

Fantastic selection of current premier designer footwear.  Some of the selections really caught my eye and were unique from mainstream media.

Light in the wallet?  Tory Burch is in the back.

SAs watch you like a hawk, but they are quite hospitable.

this review was based, solely, on the non-customer service i got.

uhm, like, the chick workin there was , like, on the freakin phone, like, the whole time. and, like, talkin, like this really loud ( and annoying). she didnt even acknowledge my friends and i walking in. a simple smile would have sufficed! ...maybe, something crazy happened on "the hills" (show). thats why she couldn't concentrate on anything, but the phone.

the shoes are beautiful, so i give an extra star. there must've been a fluke-sales chick workin that day.

This store sits prettily in Santana Row, mocking me with its exquisite shoes and bank busting prices that are the standard fare for couture footwear. Even though my checking account won't allow me to splurge on such an extravagance, I always have to stop into this store just to bask in the heartbreaking, glittering beauty.
The usual routine:
1. Rush into store and immediately spot a masterpiece of a shoe
2. Gingerly pick up the shoe like the wondrous piece of art that it is, and lovingly caress every achingly gorgeous detail
3. Sigh
4. Declare my undying love
5. Cry a little at how cruel life is that I cannot afford to possess such beauty
6. Dejectedly put the shoe down
7. Leave and begin my earnest search for a Sugar Daddy, which are always plentiful in Santana Row
That was always the routine... until today.
I spotted them. The perfect pair of shoes to match my perfect dress I recently purchased. They were sparkling, stunning and they fit my narrow-made-for-designer-shoes feet like a dream, making me feel like a modern day Cinderella. Better yet- they were not TOO expensive as far as designer shoes go, but... they still cost a pretty penny. But... they were the last ones in my size. It was a sign.
I hesitated and contemplated.
I put them on hold.
I sighed and left.
I endlessly rationalized to myself.
And then... ten minutes later...
I ran back into the store desperately exclaiming to the salesgirl like the shoe junkie I am, "I have to have it! Please! They were made for me!! GIVE IT TO ME!!"
And now they are mine- a pair of shoes so miraculously perfect, that it makes me feel as though I am one step closer to Buddha every time I slip them on.

pretty nice shoes here!
i'm going to rate this place because me and my girlfriend came here..
of course we don't look super rich or anything..
the girl was super nice about it.. even told us the sales that were going on..
i'm glad she was nice to let us know that everything was 40% off instead of just judging us.. and being a snotty brat like most santana row stores.

I guess they haven't gotten all of their stock in yet, but so far... the experience was, well, anticlimactic. I was looking for super-high heels (over 4") and the sales assistant just seemed like she was in some sort of cold medicine induced haze or something...unresponsive and no familiarity with their own (thus far limited) range of merchandise. Fortunately another girl stepped in who was a lot more helpful. Hopefully over the next few months they will continue to get more stock and all of the staff will be up to par.
