Growing up in Millbury, Foodworks was our de facto Chinese place.  Stuck between a laundromat and a pizza place, it can be hard to find just off Elm St. on a small side street.   The menu was fairly extensive, but the prices seemed a little higher than they should have been.

The food itself was very middle of the road.  First, like most places, the crab rangoons were 90% cream cheese.  The chicken fingers were pretty tasty, if a little too greasy.  The teriyaki beef skewers were often gristly.  The fried rice, though also greasy, was probably the tastiest thing they had, though it tends to be hard to completely mess up fried rice.  Fortune cookies were always included, as well as too many packets of soy sauce which my family seemed to hoard on the little top shelf of the refrigerator door.  We usually had to ask for duck sauce (which was very apple saucy).  Portions were decent, often resulting in leftovers.

The staff was okay, I suppose.  Not nice, not rude, just doing their job.  Although, once as a frightened 12 year old, my mother made me go in to pay and get the food, the guy behind the counter threatened to charge me for the two extra duck sauces we requested.  I never went in to pay again.
