Food is good but a little pricey for what it is
Hi, this is an old-style diner but with a modern and inviting decor. However, the service I got was frankly disappointing. My waitress really seemed to not like me for some reason. Maybe because I was dining alone--I can't think of any other reason. The tossed salad was very ordinary as was the Italian dressing.The garden burger with ortega chile was okay. The best part was when a portion of the cheese in the sandwich got on a french fry (which were the big steak fries) which was scrumptious. I may recommend on a future visit making cheese fries part of the menu (if it's not already). As I was leaving I noticed that there was a separate vegetarian and diet menu with a number of fairly tempting dishes (such as Penne Primavera with either marinara or alfredo sauce). As a vegetarian, I wish my server would have asked me if I wanted to see this menu or given it to me in addition to the regular menu. However, I probably will give this place a second chance and try the penne primavera in the future. Hopefully the service I get will be much better.
