Bonjour to authentic French in the middle middle of Coral Springs! Well ok, the owners may be Asian, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to fulfill your french bakery needs. Buttery croissants, light and crunchy meringues, and perfect miniature cream puffs filled with a delicate cream. Part of their skill is that they manage to produce fresh products that manage to be sweet, without being overly so. Their tarts and cakes are all delicious and their elephant ears are crisp and flaky. My family has been coming for years to get their soft rolls, which are so good my little sister started referring to them as "yummy rolls" when she was a child. They are great alone but so light and pillowy that they also make great structure for sandwiches and hamburgers.
The decor is a bit outdated (they have been in business quite a long time), and it is tucked away in a shopping center so it won't be obvious from the street...all that aside they offer great customer service and quality goods at very reasonable prices.Listed in: Home is where the heart is

Went here for the first time. The elephant ears are the best I have ever had. The fruit tart was delightful. It is easy to find and the prices are good. The only thing I did not like was that the cake in the Tiramasu was dry, definitely could use some more liqueur.

not what i expected, big disappointment!! i was fooled into thinking it was authentic french bakery,but got there and the bakers were chinese. i have no prob with who works there but really?anyways the place was dead,display case was empty and there choices were slim to none!! the place did not look like the way it was described in the review i read about it. croissantime is wayyy better than this place.maybe i went on a bad day or too late,but if this place gets more than 2 stars..... me no likes!!

Fontane Bakery is the best bakery to get birthday cakes, period, if you like light, airy, french-style cakes with whip cream frosting. Most people who know Fontane for their birthday cakes is the local Asian population because Fontane whips up in my mind, what I call chinese-style birthday cakes. No different from regular cakes, it's just a european style cake with an asian twist: layered with mixed fruit (strawberries are popular), whipped cream (versus butter cream), etc that appeals to the not-overly-sugary-sweet tastebuds. They also serve other french baked goods here also and have been here for awhile.

The most beautiful and delicious chocolate mousse cake ever!! This place has been in business for 18 years! They made my Sweet 16 birthday cake and I'm 31 now! Awesome awesome place!!
