I was in need of someone to come out and run coaxial cable from my outside TV box to my attic so that I could hook up my HD antenna to get over the air programming on my two HD TVs and wasn't sure who to call for this type of service. After doing a bit of searching, Folsom Lake Electric (FLC) was suggested on a couple different sites. After reading through the positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to give them a try.
I had emailed Mike my request and he quickly responded with an estimate of the amount of time it would take as well as the cost.
Mike came out this morning on time and was honest in telling me that he didn't have experience with HD antennas and wasn't sure whether or not the antenna would have good reception and if it didn't work, wouldn't be sure how to troubleshoot the antenna. I appreciated the information, but I had done my research and was fairly certain there wouldn't be any issues with using the antenna with the new cable. I also wasn't expecting him to troubleshoot the antenna since the service I was paying him for was just running the cable - he reassured me that this was a straightforward job.
The running / fishing of the cable took about an hour (as he stated over email) and charged me less than he quoted, which was a big plus! :) It worked wonderfully!...both HD TVs were able to utilize the antenna and the reception is awesome!
Mike is personable and does very professional work and I am very happy with the results. On a side note, he was surprised to see the number of channels that came in as well as the better quality than what a cable/dish company provides.
I would definitely recommend FLC and will likely use them in the future if I need their services again. -

I had Mike come over to add a recess light for my bathroom. Since my bathroom was an add-on to my house, we found several obstacles that got in the way of the installation. But Mike was able to find a way to install the light, and he did a terrific job! Also, he was very nice and fair in price. I highly recommend him, And I look forward to working with him again!

I signed up for yelp to give Mike from FLE a good review. Mike did a fantastic job troubleshooting light switches that didn't seem to operate anything and three way switches that I just couldn't figure out. He was efficient and knowledgeable and a did a great job. His pricing is also very fair. I would highly recommend him to anybody and I will be using him again for my next electrical project.

I called the guys at Folsom Lake Electric to fix an issue with my switches and a dimmer in my kitchen.

Hired Folsom Lake Electric for a complete service panel replacement. I had the dreaded Zinsco Panel which is prone to electrical fires. Mike was prompt to both the estimate meeting and to the day of the replacement. His estimate was competitive. The day of the replacement he had to work non stop from 7:30 am until 3:30 that evening to remove the old panel, install the new panel, get check off by the inspector and the power back on by PG&E. That is dedication to getting the job done. I now have a safe electrical panel and the peace of mind that comes with that.

Owner Mike Sadlowski came to the house quickly and provided a reasonably priced estimate within that same day. A couple days later I had him come do the work... Final result: Timely, quality work, and a nice guy. Highly recomended!
