We always go to this beach when visiting the in-laws in South Carolina.  This is a wonderful spot.  I was told it can get crowded during high season or on weekends but we were here during spring break and it wasn't bad.

There are 2 parking lots with pay parking - bring quarters.  There is a bathroom and a beach shower.  We bring some chairs and a picnic lunch and the kids are set for the day.
