MissMoBe said it perfectly, "cozy, intimate quiet inn". The husband and I checked in yesterday so that we could take the afternoon easy before the party - at least that was the plan but that is another story/review. I was first here on Friday when Mom and Dad were checking in. I decided to ask if I could leave my car here overnight (that way I could ride down to Disneyland with the parent and ride home with the husband that was going to meet us there). The manager was very kind and let me do it. Which turned out to be a godsend the next day when my parents needed to have 2 cars at their disposal. More on that in the next review.
The room is very nice. We have a marina view so I could wake up the husband, open the window so he could see it and then he was able to go back to sleep immediately. There is a DVD player, fridge and microwave in the room. They also have a selection of DVDs, which was very nice ... i found the perfect movie to go to sleep to.

23 guest rooms. This is a cozy, intimate quiet inn set right on the sands of Marina Beach (Mother's Beach) in Marina del Rey. Family owned for many years, the guest rooms have free in-room movies, wireless internet, and satelillite TV with HBO. Daily continential breakfast is included. Complimentary parking and shuttle service to and from LAX for hotel guests. This is a great choice if you have friends and relatives visiting in the LA area. Great for families. Walk to Venice Beach; close to jogging and bike paths.
