We just returned from a week long vacation.  We left our dog Casper with Lisa and her family. We are sure to use her again. Casper was safe and happy. He came back to us looking better than when we left him. I think Lisa secretly groomed him. He is a white Samoyed and he came back trimmed and glistening and smelling good. We are so happy.  I think he missed Lisa and her family and her little dog Tito when we brought him home. I know he will be happy to see them again on our next trip.

    Thanks a million, Lisa

I can't say enough great things about Lisa and her services.  Lisa has a natural way with and a genuine affection for animals--indeed, this is the type of person you want caring for your pet when you're away at work or on vacation.  Lisa is caring, responsible and trustworthy, and I feel totally comfortable entrusting her with my dog and access to my house.  She is a total professional.  My boxer provides the best testimonial--she absolutely adores her.

If this review sounds overinflated or full of empty hyperbole, I assure you it is not.  My boxer has myelopathy and lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.  Having these difficult conditions, I was not about to entrust my dog with just any dogwalker or commercial walking enterprise.  I've had walkers in the past who were too rigid or inflexible with their approach and services--and for those who've had bad walkers, I'm sure you can relate.  As a worried owner, I was looking for a dogwalker who could provide personal attention and compassion for my dog.  After a first meeting, Lisa immediately set me at ease and offered various options to tailor the walks to my dog's needs.  Lisa's services have met all my expectations, certainly to the joy of my boxer who looks forward to every walk.

If you're looking for a dependable dogwalker you can stop here.  I understand Lisa offers a variety of services, including individual walks, group walks and, I believe, other animal sitting type services.  Certainly if she can handle a special needs situation like mine, she can handle other much less demanding services with relative ease.

Before I hired Lisa, my Boston Terrier, Sox, truly was a "terror".  He's now well excercised, happier and calmer due to his daily walks.  He's interacting with other dogs and seems to be having a ball.  He's actually a joy to come home to.

I was also very fortunate to have found Lisa and I highly recommend her services.  If Sox could speak, he would say...thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was fortunate to have found Lisa.  She is amazing with my dog Ginger and my dog literally waits by the door eager to greet Lisa knowing that she is going to get her daily walks.  I know Ginger  is in the best care and having a great time.  Lisa is awesome and great with dogs.  I highly recommend her.

We found Lisa in the nick of time.  The person we were going to use as a sitter for our babies had a last minute emergency come up and would not be able to house them for the time we went on vacation.  We found Lisa, and she was available if with such short notice.  Both our pups got along great with Tito, or Boston Terrier got so comfy at her place that she saw that Lisa's son was having a difficult time with teething so she gave him her rubber bone to chew on. (We only know this because Lisa told us, she sent pictures and updates on them every few days) :p  The day we were supposed to return, our flight was rerouted up to Milwaukee and we were snowed in and not able to get out until the next morning.  Lisa was able to accommodate our pups until the next morning, which was a life saver!  We are definitely using Lisa every time we need a sitter!  They felt right at home at her place within minutes of being at her house, we could not have asked for anything more.  Thanks again, Lisa!  Our pups home away from home.

History

Established in 2008

Lisa started her own pet care business in 2008 realizing there was a huge demand for pet care providers in the Bay Area.  The light bulb lit up while she was researching adoptable dogs online.  There were so many dogs abandoned because it was not trained properly or because owners didn't have time to socialize or exercise the dogs; resulting in bad and problematic behaviors.  To help families with dogs, she began to study dog training and shortly after started this company.  Walking dogs is her passion.  She believes exercise is key in solving most of your typical dog-behavioral "problems"; boredom barking, digging, furniture chewing, jumping, and other unruly behaviors.

Meet the Business Owner: Lisa S.

Hello!  Thanks for visiting.  I am a dog lover and have a mutt name Tito.  I found him in a rescue a year ago.  Little guy was the sole survivor in his litter.  I'm so lucky to have found him, he has improved the quality of my life in ways I can not calculate.  When I was young, I was surrounded by many different kind of animals.  I've had cats, dogs, bird, turtles, fish, and even a snake.  I am originally from Taiwan, I've lived in the U.S since I was 10 years old.  I'm now in my 30's and married.  I speak English and Mandarin fluently.  I've graduated from Northern Virginia College with an A.S. degree and is studying Dog training with Animal Behavior College.  I moved to S.F. 2 years ago from D.C. and studied Photography for a short time in San Francisco Art Institute.  I am a dog walker, pet sitter, dog trainer, and owner of Fog City Paws.  I volunteer for the Peninsula SPCA in San Mateo, Member of Pet Sitters International,  SF Dog Owners Association, and Ocean Beach Dog Owners Grp
