Good food in huge portions. But kinda greasy.
We had lunch here maybe 3 times a week. Good shrimp chow mein. But inside its a little too crazy and loud.
But still moderately priced. You get what you pay. I suggest carry-out. Just call ahead before lunch hour and send out the new guy to pick up. That's the way we did it.
From the stories my father told...this was the only Chinese restaurant in the area back in the 80's. They would go here to satisfy there cravings for Chinese food during those work week lunch hours.
That said my curiosity had been sparked as this was basically a historical landmark, we had to go.
We went in and I thought I was in a movie scene from some old nostalgia flick. Not a good or bad thing but different.
I ordered the Pork Lunch Special and it was just tiny chopped pieces of pork with a lot of sauce. I felt gypped
Overall the lunch here is more of a trip of "good ol days" I will leave for my father to enjoy.
