I absolutely LOVE Doctor Kristi's approach. She views the body as a whole and treats appropriately.  The hybrid massage/chiro technique is great.  I would recommend anyone who is looking for relief from chronic or acute pain.  She really cares about her clients too which is a super plus!

About This Business

Specialties

Boosting energy, stress and tension relief and accelerated healing through hybrid massage & chiropractic treatments.  The focus is on upper body issues including headaches, neck pain and shoulder problems.  The secondary focus is on extremity complaints like elbow, wrist, knee and ankle issues.

History

Established in 2009

I developed a blended therapy because people respond faster to chiropractic with massage and yoga-inspired exercises.  They also notice the benefits quickly-usually in one to two sessions.  This hybrid therapy of massage, chiropractic and stretching/exercise formed over the last 5 years of my practicing.  During the last 3 years, I worked in a sports-med clinic with a yoga instructor, personal trainer and 2 other chiropractors.   The only thing missing was a truly comforting setting.  Being in the spa gives an extra element of relaxation and helps people focus on the therapy instead of the distractions in a clinical office.

Meet the Business Owner: Kristi S.

I love people. I love connecting with people. I started school to become an M.D. with the intent to have a career helping people. Three years into my schooling, I changed my profession to chiropractic so I could specialize in treating muscle and joint problems naturally.  I have a background in dance, gymnastics, cheer and track. I seem to have a knack for choosing activities not considered sports by some people. But the flexibility, strength and endurance required for my sports has given me an edge. I am familiar with a large variety of body movements and mechanics and have plenty of experience with my own injuries. I also understand that healing from an injury is difficult because you don't want to take time off from activity. I don't want people to settle for merely being out of pain for typical daily activities. Healing properly means being able to get back into your personal level of activity.
