Great event for bloggers and the Central Florida blogging community. Learning seminars with classroom style instruction on best practices for social media outreach, branding, and managing all of your social media channels. The instruction is provided by local bloggers that have successful sites. The networking is great and you get a chance to mingle with other bloggers to get ideas on trends and brainstorm. Love this event and it's very well organized. Thanks to all of sponsors and Florida BlogCon for the event!

Such a great time to learn the ins and outs of social media. Great place to network and just plan fun.
My only suggestion would be for lunch. Maybe offer quick box lunches or bring a few options in to make getting lunch go quicker. This year I missed a session to wait on lunch. :\ It was a very long, slow moving line.
I will still be back next year! Maybe I'll pack my lunch. :)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Colleen B.Orlando, FL1732151610078Jul 20, 2011First to Review
Orlando's first Central Florida Blogger conference was a huge success. Bess from Central Florida Top 5 put together a fabulous, local conference that held over 100 attendees. Yes, local as in every speaker was local and an astounding representation of social media and bloggers within Central Florida.
The event began at 9 am and ran until 4:30 with a happy hour over at Eden Bar. For lunch we had Big Wheel Provisions outside and it was perfectly delicious.
It was a great networking and educational event to attend for myself as a blogger and social networker for personal and professional reasons. I learned some great tips, made some great connections and heard from fabulous speakers. There were two tracks: "less advanced" and "more advanced" so you could pick and choose which speakers/topics you wanted to sit in on.
I can not wait until next year, this is definitely going to stick around and grow each year so make sure you stay up to date!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - 1055476691Sep 24, 2012
This was a fantastic event! The collection of bloggers who came from all over the state all gathered to learn and network and have fun!
Speakers: I enjoyed the selection of speakers as I learned about banding, networking, twitter tips, blogging tips, social networking tips, marketing yourself, and about monetizing your blog. The variety was very nice!
Environment: The Orlando Science center was a great choice as it was a hub-bub of activities and visual things to see for all!
Extras: Having Macbeth Photography on site for free headshots and photos was an excellent plus! Also, there was yoga by Core Connection on lunch break to keep the focus for us fit bloggers. The food, catered by Bahama breeze & Parkesdale farms helped us to refuel and stay focused with Nawgen drinks. There was even a contest for bloggers to 'Blog for good" with 6 non profit organizations having raffle baskets up for grabs. I won an ipad, I am a happy camper ;)
Overall: A well put together event, I'll be there next year!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 3, 2015
This conference was amazing-my friend and I decided on the spot this will be the first of many. First of all singing up and setting up my schedule was very easy. I had an issue with my ticket and organizer Bess was a huge help. We got free tickets to Blue Man-great fun. We only wished it was more organized to meet together with others. We loved the innovative non keynote-using headphones and following prompts. We were VIPs and got an extra goody bag and preferred seating. Fl Blog Con had great sponsors and we enjoyed the waters available all day, fresh juice, Florida Milk Council with cookies, yogurt and more. The vendors were interesting as well and we enjoyed meeting and taking with them. Full Sail was the perfect venue. The classrooms were beautiful and I never had to worry about my phone power because there were plug ins all around. I loved having a table to write on. This was a very well organized event that I plan to attend again. The workshops varied for people beginning or those with experience. I learned from every presenter and each provided contact info for follow up. I LOVED Fl Blog Con!

This was my first Blogger conference (of any kind) and boy did FLBlogCon set the bar high! I met so many cool people, made great connections, and learned a lot. Even with the trouble the rain caused the team did a great job of making sure that everything still ran smoothly. I can't wait until next year!

What a great event at a fantastic location at Full Sail University. A large amount of information from peers and experienced bloggers. This was our first time and we will be back. It was great to be able to share our story with other writers. The sponsors and brands were incredible as well.
