Loved it. The food was good and the prices were even better. However, I was surprised to see it so empty during lunch. I would definately go again.
Made my first trip out here my first time this past Tuesday. It was pretty koo, $5 cover, got there at around 11:00pm and didn't have to wait too long, any later and we woulda had to wait in a fat ass line. Drinks were cheap!! $3 beer, $9 Silverbacks! DJ was dope, played everything from R&B to top 40 rap to Bay slaps to house, everything I like. Mixed bag about security, the guy working the door was koo, but the guys on the inside were strict, I put my hat backwards a couple times and ended up kicking me up, but luckily I got back in. No dress code, just put your hats forward. Crowd was mostly young college kids, it was surprisingly packed for a Tuesday. Tuesdays up in San Jose are wack so I was surprised to see so many people out. For sure I'd come back here!

We celebrated Father's Day a little early this year (on Friday to be exact). We were supposed to attend an Angel's game but that didn't work out so our back up was to be drinks in Fullerton before a dinner in Anaheim at Bubba Gumps.
We started out with a couple large beers at Heroes (dad's choice) which I'd visited MANY times before. And we got to talking about Florentine's. Apparently my dad had seen an ad informing all that Florentine's, Palapa and Tuscany (all owned by the same people) were taking note of the recession and giving recession prices for a limited time. ALL entrees 50% off! We wondered over, took a look at the appetizing menu and thought "We should DEFINITELY give it a try!". (Especially since my sister and I were paying for this high end meal and don't really have the high end budget at the moment).
We all got rib eye steaks with the works for under $16! A salad, the steak, yummy garlic creamed spinach (that was a substitute for no extra charge) and roasted potatoes. OH MY GOSH. First of all my steak was cooked perfectly. It was a bit grissly in places but that's to be expected with the marbling of a rib eye. The spinach, I thought, would make me stink for days. It didn't. It just tasted incredible. The roasted potatoes were SWEET! I don't know what it was but they were OUTSTANDING. They also toss their salads in plenty of chosen dressing which I loved. They give sourdough rolls that are bitter and delish! I can't say enough about the food! The prices were outstanding, of course.
The only thing I could complain about would be our server. She was an older lady who seemed incredibly annoyed when my dad pondered whether or not he wanted a salad. She literally said outloud "Yes or no? Come on." We all had to shake our heads a bit and refocus to ensure we'd all heard the same thing. From then on out she was a bit more warm...but not much.
The food is good, the drinks are good... but I seem to recall, they are always changing their menu it seems. It's like they are continuing to find themselves. I've had a few dishes to where I came back and they weren't there anymore.
The food was decent - I would eat light and save room for dessert and get their Boston Creme Pie Cake - it was simply the best!!! My Raspberry Lemonade Martini was quite good too!!!
After dinner we went to the adjacent building, the Tuscany Club, and had more martini's and listened to the cover band.
We were hoping to be able to get back in the main dining room as after dinner it turns into a hip-hop club. Once you are out you are out - you'd have to go stand in line and pay a cover....I don't think so.
There's also another room which has pool tables.
I like the set up but they should allow their dining guests to be able to roam between each room.
