Flooring America

Excellent job. My husband and I looked for flooring for a long time. Our Salesperson, Rob, was great. He walked us through the procedure and pointed out both pro's and cons. Then he gave us the timeline which was pretty standard with the other dealers. Talk about under promising and over achieving! Richard and Richard were prompt each day, cleaned up their messes daily and worked so hard. They actually finished up one and a half days early. The team, including Sue and their foreman (Charlie?), were very professional. Highly recommend!!!

I had great service today on my maiden voyage into selecting flooring to be installed when I chose to visit the Dunedin Flooring America location. Why was my experience so remarkable?

First, Flooring America has an interior designer on staff and in the store. Her name is Sue. We are planning a small job (a very small job) and just in the early phases of figuring out the right look for the room. However, I felt like Sue treated us the same as if we were coming in to floor an entire house.

The second reason I had a remarkable experience was that I learned Flooring America is a co-operative. Although it is a national retailer, each location is owned locally by individuals. I thought that was cool Shop local!

The third reason I had a remarkable experience was the wide range of samples IN THE STORE to choose from.

We had brought in the wood paneling we plan to use in the room (rift white oak) and the paint (a Sherwin-Williams Lazy Gray). We were able to lay about 12 different hardwood or LVT (luxury vinyl tile) samples alongside our other materials and navigate to get the perfect grey/beige flooring with the grain we liked.

Sue was instrumental in helping us navigate the wide selection of options. It also was a relief to talk to a professional designer for free and get some validation that our color scheme and planned materials were working together.

If you are considering flooring I highly recommend that you check out Flooring America in Dunedin. PLUS, Dunedin has such a cute downtown and good restaurants (I had stone crab at Hog Island Fish Camp) that you can make an afternoon of it.

Both Rob and Sue were very helpful and professional in answering all our questions and making recommendations for our Florida home. The work was done in our absence and Rob kept us updated with pictures (e-mailed) and calls of the progress. We had 3 different types of flooring installed and were completely satisfied with the finished project. We can strongly recommend this flooring company.

We recently used Flooring America Dunedin to install hardwood floors in the bedrooms of our newly purchased condo. We worked with Sue at the store and Rob came to the condo to do the measurements. The installation required some additional work in moving built in cabinets and it became more difficult than expected. Rob's installation team, headed up by Christian was outstanding! They performed the additional labor and did not charge us extra for the time involved. Christian was always on time and called me to let me know when they were arriving. They were able to accommodate our schedule for installation and even called and asked if they could begin a day earlier. Anne Marie was the scheduling person and she kept me updated of any changes to the schedule. Rob and his team went the extra mile to assure that we were 100% satisfied with our purchase and the installation. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for excellent work and a good value! We are thrilled with our new hardwood floors.

The service, selection of products, prices, installation and customer service were excellent. Rob was very knowledgable and helped us narrow down the laminate flooring we chose. Their installers did a great job and the flooring looks beautiful. I will go to this company for all of my flooring needs and do not hesitate to highly recommend them to others.
