DELICIOUS. Our cake was simply amazing! Never had I been to a wedding where people were raving about how moist a wedding cake had been. I found my parents the night of the wedding with my sister and brother-in-law huddled around some extra pieces. It was seriously that good.
Not one, but four flavors later, our guests were in heaven. We had the white w/ raspberry, chocolate with caramel and apple spice. All were heavenly.
The staff is uber-friendly as well. Always emailing if they had questions, confirming design and flavors/mailing receipts of payments. You can't go wrong with them!

Fleur de Lisa was fantastic to work with, from our initial contact with them to set up a cake tasting appointment up to the actual wedding day. For the tasting appointment I was coming in from out of town and I was on a tight schedule, and they arranged for me to come in on a day they are not normally open. I was surprised at how many cake samples we got to try and they were very patient while we looked through the cake books to come up with a design we wanted. On the day of the wedding the cake arrived on time, it was exactly what we ordered, and it looked and tasted amazing. So many guests complimented me on the how good the cake was. Thank you, Fleur de Lisa!

We used Fleur de Lisa for our wedding cake. Our venue recommended them and after meeting with Jamie at the tasting we knew this was the place. There were so many flavors to choose from. We selected raspberry zinger, "Karat" cake and poppy lemon and they were all delicious. I knew I wanted the cake design to be simple and to match my dress with fresh flowers on it. Aside from that, I wasn't quite sure how it would turn out but Jamie quickly sketched a picture for me and suggested colors that would go with the look I described. They were able to make my design using only butter cream and no fondant, which was very important to me. When I first saw the cake on the day of my wedding I was so happy. It was exactly what I wanted and even better then I expected. I only wish I ate more of it. I didn't give 5 stars simply because it was a bit more expensive then what I had initially wanted to pay but well worth it in the end.

Lisa delivered a wedding cake that was not what we ordered and a groomsmen's cake that was incomplete. The pictures Lisa showed us at the tasting were nothing like what we got. It looked like she did not put a lot of time into either of our cakes. The wedding cake was the wrong design and the groomsmen's cake looked unfinished.
At our initial meeting with Lisa, my wife was very specific about the design that she wanted. After the initial meeting, we were not able to talk to Lisa (not for lack of trying) and all communication was through her assistant by email and one short phone call.
We sent Lisa an email after the wedding expressing our concerns. She claimed that we asked for the type of cakes she delivered, which simply was not the case. My wife was adamant about the design. Lisa either didn't pay attention, forgot what we wanted, or didn't care. We wanted an apology, what we got was an argument.
I am giving her two stars instead of one because the cakes did taste nice, and the wedding cake looked good. But niether cakes were what we ordered. And Lisa's customer service was quite poor. -

The cake Lisa created for our wedding was incredible. We had a few guests say that it was the best cake they had ever had (really!). The Cafe Ole, Lemon Poppy Royale and "Karat" Cake flavors were absolutely devine.
The three-tier, ivory buttercream cake was exquisitely decorated, even better than I had requested! The flowers were just gorgeous, and perfectly placed. We had asked she use a silver cake stand we had purchased locally, and she had no problems doing so (no extra charges, either).
Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed! -

Lisa and Jaime helped us create the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake for our Sonoma wedding a few weeks ago! We were trying to save money on the cake, and they were very accommodating. My husband and I had very different ideas on what we wanted the cake to look like, and Jaime was great at combining our ideas into a cake that was stunning and delcious! We did three tiers, and a sheet cake, with three flavors total: Cafe Ole, Karat Cake, and Pineapple Coconut. It was accented with flowers and swirl scrolling on the taupe buttercream frosting, with copper bands to match our linens. It looked amazing!!

We got our wedding cake from here. They were amazing from start to finish! They were great with the design process, they really seemed to just get what we wanted. It looked just as beautiful it person as it did in the sketch. At the wedding one of my bridesmaids actually said, "Best wedding cake ever, and I dont even like cake!" It was a hit all around. We got to choose three different flavors, all just as good as the other.

I still cannot believe next month, it's going to be a year since we got married (8/14)! Time flew by super fast and I regret not posting this review earlier! We had many options for wedding cakes to choose from, but the reason why we picked Fleur de Lisa is the TASTE! As soon as we tried their cakes, we were set. We got to meet with Lisa for the tasting and she was really nice and friendly. She showed us pictures of previous weddings and we were impressed the quality of work. Unfortunately, we had a budget to work with and told her how much we wanted to spend. She really worked with us and we felt that we were going to have a great wedding cake. Jamie, was the person that I communicated majority of the time throughout the whole wedding process, I believe she is the office manager. She was awesome! She was really great to work with. On the day of our wedding, we were satisfied with our cake. The wedding cake flavors we chose were Carmella (chocolate and caramel) and Semi-Sweet Sensations (chocolate) with Raspberries!!! Oh my goodness, I'm salivating right now! =) The cake was beautiful, elegant and most of all delicious!!! We heard many comments from friends and family that it was the best cake they ever tasted! Because my husband and I don't believe in saving the top tier for our one year anniversary, we decided to eat it on our one week wedding anniversary instead. For our one year, we purchased a the replica of our top tier, which we will be picking up next month. Since we could only pick one flavor, we're going with Carmella. Can't wait!!! We highly recommend checking them out. They were wonderful to work with and you will not be disappointed with the quality of their work! Hope this review helps brides to be! Happy planning! =)

GLUTEN FREE! Do you know how hard it is to find someone willing to make a boutique wedding cake that is gluten free??? Lisa was a life saver (in more ways than one with my allergy to wheat). I did NOT want to spend my honeymoon suffering the adverse effects of my food allergy. I also did NOT want a cake that looked like it came from a hippie commune just because I require alternative flours. Fortunately I was able to enjoy a delicious, moist cake that actually tasted like cake AND was beautifully presented. Giving Lisa cuttings of ribbon for color and showing her the design in my wedding invitations, she was able to create a lovely fondant that fit perfectly into my theme. We spent a long time designing it by drawing pictures and borrowing ideas from photos. By the time we were through, I know that my cake was one of a kind. People raved about the flavors, and I am afraid I scarfed down my piece with less than dainty bride-like etiquette it tasted so good. :) I am very glad I found Lisa for my wedding day!

The bakery we hired for our son's wedding cake had to drop out close to the wedding and we urgently needed someone to save the day. To top it all off, my son was organizing the wedding long distance (way long distance - from Asia!) which made it that much more difficult. I spoke to Jaime who was incredibly helpful and upfront with me about what she and Lisa could and couldn't do (given that they already had 4 other weddings on the same day as ours). In the end, she and Lisa created an absolutely beautiful cake that had my guests raving. I heard comments such as "most beautiful wedding cake I've ever seen" and "best cake I've ever tasted, period". Jaime even coordinated with my flowers designer to make sure the colors and flowers on the cake matched the rest of the wedding. You guys are fantastic . . we are huge fans and really grateful.

I am a wedding planner. I set up an appointment earlier this week for a cake tasting with my clients for today, Sunday at 2 p.m., and I confirmed the appointment. Originally, I received a recommendation to try Fleur de Lisa from my usual trusted wine country cake baker, McKee, who due to medical reasons is currently unable to take orders. The employee who was supposed to administer the tasting, Jamie, did not show up for the appointment, because she "forgot." My clients spent three hours of their day driving out of their way to Santa Rosa for this appointment, and waiting, all for a no-show! We received no call, no notice, nothing. When I called Jamie, I was called back later in the afternoon and offered an apology, but I felt further steps could have been taken to make amends, to help lesson the blow after all of my clients' time, their gas costs for driving, and time I spent rearranging their schedules just to fit in this tasting appointment. All for a no-show! It remains to be seen how--and if--the company will try to make amends.

Lisa delivered a beautiful cake for us that tasted as good as it looked. We enjoyed sampling all the different flavors and after picking two and a design, we didn't see her until the day of the wedding. The cake arrive on time looking absolutely perfect! Lisa's attention to detail is obvious - the cake was perfectly level and symmetrical and the frosting was immaculate. The flowers were lovely and artistically placed. Everyone commented on how delicious the cake was. Lisa was easy to work with and extremely professional.

I had such a great experience with Fleur de Lisa Cakes. They are nice and offer great customer service. They made cake tasting so much fun. Most importantly, my wedding cake was beautiful and the best wedding cake I have ever had (I have been to 7 weddings in the last year). We had people coming up to us and telling us they usually hate wedding cake but loved this one!

Fleur de Lisa delivered the most beautiful cake I have ever seen in my entire life. Lisa was at our initial design appointment and was able to take a few ideas that I had in my head and turn it into a sketch that became a stunning creation which was our wedding cake. The fine work and attention to detail was so amazing. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicousness of the cake. It was so moist and fresh. We had vanilla poppy seed cake with raspberry puree and lemon curd and white chocolate cream cheese filling covered in a thin layer of fondant. Amazing!!!!!! She doesn't suggest saving the top tier, but we had so much cake left over and our caterer packed it up for us so we froze it right away and will see what happens. I'll let you know in a year how it turns out! I really can't stress enough the beautiful work that Lisa does. From the delicious cake to the amazing detail in the design, she really exceeded my expectations. For this picky ex-bride, that is hard to do.
