Fletcher Free Library
2 reviews for Fletcher Free Library
This is where I started reading. How can I give them less than five stars when my mom used to take me here for story hour, and they got me through all of my pre-Internet research papers, and they me use their conference rooms for all sorts of things without really asking many questions.
Great architecture and design too, and there is even a special section dedicated to Richard Brautigan who wrote Trout Fishing in America, although I have no idea what the connection to him is. Scratch that, I just looked it up and apparently the FFL is the official home of the Brautigan Library. Who knew? If it wasn't for the Fletcher Free, I might not have even known how to look that up.

Having worked there, the amount of money they waste...if you're a tax-payer...horrifying.
That said, I love libraries. This one needs it's staff and management gutted with a chainsaw.
