I recently had dinner at the new Flemings Steak House in Marlton NJ. I ordered a shrimp app, a fleming salad and a petit filet (and tow single malt scotches). The shrimp app came out and it was good but it was cold (not supposed to be), the Fleming salad with citrus dressing was the BOMB and the filet was great, properly cooked and delicious.

So Flemings passed the food test but here is where the won the game. The shrimp app was cold and I didn't complain until a manager (Ari Kliet) came by to ask and I casually mentioned it was cold. I told him it was good but cold. He immediately solved the problem no questions despite my protestations.

So, what was once a medium review is noe a GREAT review thanks to Ari, Jason and Lisa (the bartenders) that did a GREAT job. I will return and tell my friends

I had the opportunity to join a group of co-workers and clients at the brand new Fleming's Steakhouse the has been open just a few weeks in Marlton, NJ. Owned by the same parent company as Outback Steakhouse, I was not really sure what to expect.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised!!

First of all, for a Tuesday night, it was good to see such a great crowd in the place. The staff was friendly and attentive, suggesting appetizers and wines for the table. The cold seafood platters that we chose were exquisite and plentiful, but were also not inexpensive. At $95 each, I would not be ordering this item unless I was with a large group. I appreciated the professionalism and eagerness of the staff to work with our group of 15, which can often be a daunting task even when the staff knows they will be well compensated.

The Sommelier was helpful to me as a new wine drinker and took the time to speak with me about my likes and dislikes before suggesting a glass that was quite enjoyable.

The food was excellent! Every dish brought to our table was presented beautifully, cooked as ordered and served in the correct order and with the correct side items. I ordered lamb and I am very picky about how I like my dishes served and I had no complaints at all.

The atmosphere is a little dark, but is also soft and inviting and very different from so many places in this area. I've told a number of people about this place and cannot wait to go back again.
