Dr. Bob is our house-call vet, and he is incredible.  First off, it is just really cool to have a house-call vet, period.  But Dr. Bob is really good.  When I first moved here, I tried a couple different vets, and one in particular was nuts.  Anyway, Dr. Bob works very hard to figure out what is happening with our dogs, since they are_always_having something weird happening, being old, crazy, overbred dalmatians.  He is good at thoroughly describing all the options so that you get to choose what to do in different situations.  When my cat was dying, he was tremendously helpful in describing options while also being gentle and understanding.  We love him!
