Okay, I came here to this cute kitschy place with a group expecting there to be nothing on my keto, dairy free, gluten free, no red meat diet ( yes, I'm annoying, I get it.) However, I reluctantly ordered the chicken wings ( asked for them extra crispy with the Cajun sauce) and a side salad expecting a ho-hum meal. To my ultimate SURPRISE, these WERE LITERALLY THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS I'VE EVER HAD in my 38 year old life!!! I can't rave enough about how big, crispy, flavorful, and perfect they were! They had little fat, which was a huge plus too. However you're making these Flat creek, keep doin' it! I'll be back soon for these tasty wings!

Terrific late lunch, great menu with many offerings...had the fried chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes and all were excellent. Chicken was spot on, crispy and seasoned well. Green beans were just like Granny made them. Great vibe..,mix of Broadway Oyster Bar (in StL) and the bar in "True Blood". Had an awesome bar area as well with pool table and great jukebox.

My buddy and I loved the place. Great food. Fun atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Did I say the food was very good? I highly recommend them. We ate there several times during our fishing trip in June.

My partners favorite restaurant on Table Rock Lake. The staff is very friendly. They are able to accommodate groups of all sizes. The atmosphere is laid back and perfect for a date night or to bring the kids along.
We started with pulled pork nachos and they are a big portion! I had the catfish with a baked potato and it was very good. It was served with a homemade tartar sauce. My partner had the chicken tenders tossed in a homemade Cajun sauce with a side salad and homemade Thousand Island.
They have a full bar available if you are wanting a cocktail or beer.
We ordered a piece of carrot cake and German chocolate cake to go. They were very big pieces and can be shared.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan A.Cassville, MO1757Aug 31, 2023
Even though we had to drive 36 minutes on winding roads this place is worth it. Everything was great. Steaks, ribs, shrimp and carrot cake! Wow

When we first started coming here, the food was excellent....all of it. The last couple of visits though, the food seems to have gone downhill.
Today I got the catfish (swai) and fried chicken basket. The fish was just okay. The thinner parts were pretty hard and dry, but the thicker parts were fine. The chicken was awful! It used to have a very thin coating on it and was really moist. This time, it was thickly coated (think of KFC extra crispy). It was greasy and the inside was really dry. The fried okra tasted a little stale. It was chewy. The baked beans were still really good! My husband's broccoli was pretty decent.
It's really too bad, because we really liked this place and had referred many people here and brought many visitors here too.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 15, 2022Previous reviewThis was an extremely busy restaurant, but the service was outstanding!
Portion size was big and the food was good. We'll definitely be going back! - Brianna G.Springfield, MO03Dec 29, 2023
DO NOT EAT HERE!
I would give zero stars if at all possible.
We went here on Friday December 22nd for a fun holiday lunch with friends. The service was kind, the ambiance looked organized, however, while eating the catfish my husband said "this tastes odd" I couldn't tell and I thought he hadn't ate catfish before, and replied it's just catfish is different, and so I ate my portion. I started to feel sick a few hours later and each day I became more and more nauseous. By Christmas Eve I was so nauseous and had so much stomach pain. Christmas Day was not much better and I just barely started to eat normal on 12/28 almost a full blown week later. I had no other symptoms other than food poisoning symptoms. This was the worst case of food poisoning I believe I ever had and it completely destroyed Christmas. I called today at 7:14 and explained today was the first day I felt good enough to make calls or do much (a week since they gave me food poisoning me) and I politely and delicately explained this to the manager (I believe he said his name was Steven Keith). I didn't scream, yell, cuss them out, I was kind even though they ruined my ability to function or eat or bake for my family for the holiday. And all he said was, "Sorry, we'll check the food logs." No overly apologetic we are so sorry you came here to celebrate and your holiday was ruined. No offer of reimbursement, no offer of a free meal or dessert or appetizer. Didn't even feel like a real apology, I'm not sure you can really call it that. This is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS PRACTICES. I am highly disappointed. It is bad enough to not care your restaurant gave one of your patrons food poisoning, it is a whole other level to not care or made one of your patrons sick over Christmas ultimately not caring their establishment ruined the holiday of a patron and their family. They really should have better customer service practices. I intend to tell everyone I know about this experience to save them from illness, especially if it's before a special occasion or holiday. They definitely shouldn't be allowed to cater, they won't care what brides they make sick and miss their honeymoon, they already made money off of us so why should they care.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Judy K.Olathe, KS2012215Oct 18, 2023
Excellent choice for us and based it on the reviews. A brisket salad was one entree and the other was the chicken & catfish basket with onion rings & coleslaw. 2 pieces of bone-in chicken and 2 big fillets of catfish. Everything was delicious. Service perfect. Priced reasonably. Highly recommend
