Flame Broiler

The 5 star rating is for their tofu plate. It's delicious! You get a choice of base. White, brown, salad or vegetables, which works for everyone. The tofu is quality and they give you a nice sized "steak" that seems to be seared in a pan with a light Teri sauce. Of course there are more sauces you can add on your own. The price was a little high, at $15, but sometimes you just don't have time to DIY.

This Flamebroiler is right next to a Chic flit and they have a steady flow of traffic. I think that says a lot. The staff is friendly and my order is ALWAYS correct. I go here on a weekly basis and it has been consistent. I can't wait to go back next week!

This flame broiler location is not too bad. When I first walked into the store it had a very clean smell. I did not smell like old stale food like a lot of fast food or medium food restaurants. The people that help me behind the counter were very nice. They allow me to take my order with no hesitation. The lines at this location were not very long because they were properly staffed and they were able to usher all of their customers in and out of the location rapidly. The tables were very clean which made eating a lot more enjoyable. I have been to tons of fast food restaurants that have a lot of sticky things on the table. Or the stables are very dirty and it makes it super uncomfortable to enjoy your food. This location did not have that issue at all

The drinks that came out of the soda machine were very good. Again this may seem like a very small thing but I have been to many restaurants that have water down drinks that come out of the fountain drink so to have soda, specifically Pepsi which is my favorite, that actually taste like Pepsi Was a positive.

It depends to the one you go to. Costa Mesa's is good HB is meh, which totally defeats the purpose of a chain. You are supposed to have the same experience in all locations.

LOVE Flame Broiler! Really a take out place w fast service and great food. Build your own bowl or plate. Both the steak and chicken rock!

I ordered a half and half with no vegetables. When I came home and opened my bowl, U see vegetables that were not cooked properly and tasted raw. Nothing more annoying when they screw up your order on such a simple order.

Didn't come to eat here. This review is about a particular staff member at Flame Broiler. My boyfriend and I were trying to get to Chick Fil A and parking was insane. We decided to park in a sign that was labeled "20 Minute Parking" to run in, get Chick Fil A to go, then leave. This spot was in front of the Flame Broiler and the Korean Restaurant next to it, but this spot was NOT labeled as Flame Broiler parking only. I am someone who abides by rules so I parked in the spot knowing I would be in and out in 15 minutes from Chick Fil A, and since it was not designated restaurant parking I parked there.

15 minutes goes by, and my boyfriend and I get back to my car and a Flame Broiler employee comes out. He doesn't say anything but angrily and in a really petty way points at my boyfriend and then at the 20 minute parking sign. My boyfriend responds and says "we were only here for 15 minutes and got our food to go. What's the problem?" The guy just walks away and says nothing back.

Left a really bad taste in our mouth. Keep in mind there were like 3 open spots next to us in front of Flame Broiler. It wasn't like we were taking up their prime parking and sitting there forever. Won't be going to this Flame Broiler ever because of this. Seems like this guy was twiddling his thumbs waiting for someone to get mad at for no reason.

So unprofessional.

I got the Angus Beef Bowl the meat was under cooked and so was the rice. The rice had a slight crunch to it.

Staff are all friendly never had an issue with the wait or the courtesy. Food is prepared really quickly and tastes good as well as portioned properly. Clean place inside & out. Highly recommend if you want to eat healthy & leave full
