I'm that person. You know the one -- joins a gym like NYSC, goes religiously for about 3 weeks, and then something comes up that interrupts the new routine... and thats it. I may as well burn my $86 every month for warmth. It doesn't matter how much motivation I claim to have, I can't drag my sorry ass off the couch to go to a gym where I'm going to have to wait in line for a machine.

Enter Fitness Together.

It's small, clean, and most importantly, it delivers results. I have had a standing appointment two times a week since the beginning of the summer and damn, have I seen some great results. I've gone from a soft and smooshy girl with no tone to a girl that has respectively strong arms, legs, and endurance. This business wasn't achieved without some major motivation and pushing on my trainers' part, but it was totally worth it.

Not only am I going to look awesome in my brother's wedding now (there's always a reason to start going) but I'm in way healthier than I've ever been.

The proof? I went to Breckenridge, CO for a wedding last weekend and was the only one who could dance the night away without getting out of breath. In your face, altitude!

I've become so spoiled by this place. How am I ever going to be able to join a regular gym again? Working out one-on-one w/ a personal trainer in a private room can't be beat.  And the Flynn's are great people. You'd be silly not to join.
Big thanks to FT for kicking my ass these past few months. i can actually see muscles now. I thought I had a tumor in my arm, but no, it's a bicep.
My only gripe is that I wish I could take Carmel to Seattle with me!

I got a random mailer from FT back in December and at that point I was going to rejoin NYSC but can't deal with the smell of the sweat and cleaner the use for the machines, but figured I would suck it up and go back but my curiosity got the best of me and I emailed FT and Brian replied, after going back and forth via email...we chatted on the phone at bit and was like I gotta go check it out, so I did.  To make a long story short...I joined and have been getting my butt kicked... in a good way... by Brian and Carmelle ever since and it's looking good too! It was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time... I am seeing results and learned so much from all the trainers.  I love the "one big happy family" feeling and how supportive all the trainers are.  They really care about each client and want them to succeed.  I've actually gain an appreciation for working out and it's all to the great trainers at FT.  Thanks!

I've been a member of FT for about 3 months now.  Since day one, the owners and staff have been fantastic in helping me stay on a fitness routine and reach my goals.  So far I've worked with both Brian and Marlow and both have managed to kick my ass.  My routines are changed often so I never get bored and they are very accommodating if there is something I want to work on or avoid.  The place is extremely clean (the #1 reason I won't go to a public gym) and the equipment is all brand new and working condition.  The best plus of this place is that you work one on one with your trainer in a private gym suite so no one can watch or ogle you and they have great private bathrooms to shower in should you choose too.  The other feature is that you pay per session (they have packages), so you do not have a monthly gym fee.  Plus, you can use the cardio equipment on your off days free of charge.  This option is more expensive than joining a traditional gym, however, if you utilize personal trainers, I believe that FT would workout to be the same price plus you get so many more amenities than a traditional gym.

Do I have any gripes?  Not really.  I wish they did have set hours for the business so I knew what times I could arrive in the morning or evening to do cardio without worrying about keeping someone late or arriving before opening and I REALLY wish that sessions were transferable btw other FT locations.  I travel a lot, so it would be nice to continue my sessions somewhere else.
