    The best bar, hands down.

As a former product spokesman for the beverage industry (for a major Irish beer product), I've been to over 500 bars, most of them in Massachusetts and elsewhere in New England. The pub, the tavern is part of our New England tradition and no establishment is more renown than that of our own brand of Irish pubs.

Each one is it's own unique experience. The best create communities and become the hub of social life in the best spirit of their patrons. By and large, the best bar that I've ever had the pleasure to sit at has to be Fit-Z's on Main Street in Watertown.

Whether you're just stopping in for a beer, to catch the Red Sox, or to have a bite to eat with a friend, you will never be disappointed.

If I have one gripe with the management is that I wish they'd come down on the price of some of the beers. Like another reviewer said, $5? OK, I'm being cheap--but who isn't these days? Besides, you definitely get what you pay for and more because the staff is the best there is.

The next time I'm in town, I definitely plan on dropping in on my friends at Fit-Z's (I know, it's a silly name, but aren't you tired of clones that take their names from bars in Ireland? Hey, I respect the homage to the Busy B, guys.) Now that I live in Los Angeles, where you have a hard chance of finding a decent bar with decent people, I really miss the good times at Fit-Z's.

I'm originally from Watertown, so I admit I might be a little biased. Then again, I don't want all sorts of riffraff coming into town now that I've given away it's best kept secret (which used to be Donohue's, which is also another fine establishment.) That said, if you want to have a fun evening with friends, try Fit-Z's. And please take a sober driver with you.

Visited on 1/31/12 in the 6-8 range of the evening. We shared mozzarella sticks that were the tastiest I've had in a really long time. We ordered a roast beef club to go and it was delectable! :)

This is a townie bar....and it's great for townies.  Good food, friendly service, low-key atmosphere.  And, yes, a lot of people "know your name."  Be sure to check it out on St. Patrick's Day but get there early before the corned beef is gone!

This place is great for many reasons; its right down the street from my house, its cheap, drinks are good, food is good, staff is friendly and attentive...what else do you need for a neighborhood bar?

Went there as one of my tour of Watertown places. We were very much pleased with the place. The burgers are flame broiled, the fries and onion rings are excellent. The salsa is just spicy enough to enjoy it. Friendly service. This actually may be our go to place...

The place has been fixed up, the TV's improved, the bathrooms no longer scary, the staff equally as friendly as before (when it was the Busy B Pub), and the prices remain reasonable.  A jukebox has been added, but its one of them newfangled annoying touch-screen jukeboxes.

Now, everyone knows you went to the Busy B for the wings.  They have added a flavor, leaving them with hot, honey terriyaki, and BBQ.  The wings are larger in size but smaller in number.

However, I can't give it the five stars because there are no darts.  Bring back the darts and I'll be more generous.  True, Busy B's dart board was warped and the darts all malfunctioned, but thats better than nothing.

While Halfway Cafe is still my neighborhood bar in Watertown, this place keeps my loyalty for my Wednesday night wings binge.  John Brewer's might have the 10 cent wings on Monday and Sunday, but Fit Z's has the tastiest wings.

One of the best bars i've been to. And I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. I have to find odd hours to get lunch just to make sure I can get a seat cause this place is almost always packed. I've also never gotten better pubfare food when going to a place like this. The quality is always solid and the servers are friendly. Oh and the fact I can get half fries half onion rings is awesome. It's little things like that which make places stand out to me. I will be visiting this place a lot.

Fit Z's is the old Busy B Pub, a place I drove by regularly for a very long time and never had any desire to enter. It looked like a dive and was easily overshadowed by Halfway Cafe across the street. I've also never been inside Fit Z's but I can tell you it looks a LOT better than the Busy B ever did, and I actually saw SEVERAL people walking in there on my drive home last night. Just for that it gets 4 stars.

This is my go to spot in Watertown.  My wife and I are here at least once a week after work for a solid dinner and a beer.  I've never had a bad meal here even though its just your typical pub food.  It always tastes homemade and the portions are perfect.  They have great deals on appetizers during games too.  In fact, I'll probably be going there tonight!

just went to Fitzies last night.  I as very impressed with the Chicken Parm sandwich, and believe me it is hard to please a chicken parm connoisseur.  I think the chicken was freshly breaded and pan cooked, not deep fried.  That touched my heart.  I was a little disappointed by the beer prices...$5 for a pint of Guinness?  But we are in Boston, but I thought they would be a little less.  Crowd was lively and the TVs very nice.  There is much more room than 1/2way, so I can see spending quite a few Sundays at Fitzies watching the Pats.  Could be some big competition for Donahue's as that has been my place of choice.  my fiancee got the veggie quesadailla's and liked them a lot, although she got a piece of cheese stuck around her back tooth.  we dont blame Fitzies for that, just some sloppy eating on the girl's part.

Went here on a Wed night and there were 5 other people here.  Only the bartender was working.  Service was fine.  Chicken wings were poor.  Not in the same realm as Buffs Pub wings.  French/fry and onion rings were good.  Would probably not return.

If you're in the mood for a pub, then you can't go wrong with Fit-Z's.  The place is solid across the board: good service, good atmosphere, good bar food, and decent prices.  The fact that its located right by a bus stop (for the #70) is also a big plus.
