You know you're in a Filipino establishment when you can sit down, eat, use a fax machine, (sometimes buy convenience store items, or lotto tickets), AND get your taxes done all in the same place!
I've been here ONCE. As a homesick transplant from Los Angeles, our Filipino restaurants are more fast-food/buffet style, and it was rather interesting to find out this place was a sit down restaurant. The decor could use an update, btw.
I ordered the bisteak (steak & onions) and it was really salty/oily/vinegary --- something I'm really not used to with this dish. My roommate also ordered the chicken Adobo, and it was good but salty as well. Maybe the Filipino restaurants out in the midwest call for more salty recipes? Really not sure... Needless to say, the food was ok but didn't quite fix my cravings... Not sure I'd return.
Since Little Q closed, this Filipino restaurant has taken its place. Little decor, but the food is good. Tried Halo-Halo for the first time. Good!!! The Chicken Adobo was good as well. Definitely would go back.
