I'm really gonna restrain myself on this review. Try... really... hard...
I was meeting a friend yesterday at the new Old Town Ale House to give the food a try. Thought I'd get there a little early to scope the town out for some Yelp reviews. I got there about 6:30ish--an hour and a half later than most places here stay open.
I went to a specialty meat place. Closed. A home décor place. Closed. One that sold kiddie clothes. Closed. A clothing joint. Closed, closed, closed--some at 5 p.m., some at 6. Doesn't anyone in this town work??
Really, the only places open here were the eateries--and the tanning place, so that, after people get fat from eating for lack of alternative activities, they can tan their fat.
For this place isn't quiter walker-friendly either. If you want to cross the street, you'll be lucky to find a crosswalk thingie. And when you DO, cars making a turn into the lane you may be (legally) traversing charge at you like an adolescent boy running down a squirrel.
Never coming back here. I mean, I work during the day. Too bad--that Gallery 116 looked pretty cool--from the outside!!
