Fresh seafood blocks from downtown.....love it!!  I love their charbroiled fish.  Good seafood served by guys that look like they should be fixing your cars....It doesn't get any better!!  Get there early or else you'll be waiting in a long line.  Prices for charbroiled plates is around $11-$13.  The fried stuff is significantly cheaper.  My favorites: seabass, swordfish, and trout.

Go, try, enjoy, and I promise you'll be back!!

Parking: They have their own lot right behind the establishment.  There is also plenty of metered parking slots.

Alright first off, realize this food is not suppose to be healthy. That being said...

I had the 'sampler', crab cakes, catfish, shrimp, with french fries and cole slaw. Everything was fried. They'd probably fry the cole slaw if you wanted them to. Crab cakes were very tasty, it was the first time I had catfish and it was meaty and flakey. The shrimp were the kind you get at Sizzler, but 3x as large. Their sauces are pretty generic. You get one tarter sauce, and one marinara, with the red rooster sauce found on the table. Though I prefer my seafood raw, steamed, or seared, you could still taste the freshness of the seafood after it had been fried. They do offer some charbroiled dishes and i will try it next time I visit.

The employees are aggressive enough to work in New York City. They aren't shy about shouting at you to hasten your decision at the counter. They prep your food just as fast though. It comes out within a minute usually.

There isn't much to the food. Nothing really 'special' in my opinion, except its a fish warehouse that decided to serve food. The seafood is either salted and grilled or battered and deep fried. Nothing too challenging with that (I think anything taste good if you fry it). Sauces are what you could find in the grocery store.

The first time I went here was a decade ago, and the past 3 years i've been going more.

This never fails when I have a seafood craving. Its not a restaurant, more of a lunch place. and its not fancy. But who cares, when you can get fresh fish/seafood, reasonably priced.

Love having the shrimp and scallops combo. Also tried the orange roughy once, and their giant prawns (though after seeing District 9, I still havent eaten PRAWNS. lol)

I've also bought fresh salmon a couple of times here, and they have special promos (like when you get a whole side of salmon, its cheaper). I pop it in ziploc and freeze it and it's always good.

Also, the guys who take your orders? they've been there A LONG time. they dont write down your order, they got it memorized (ala Pink's hotdogs). Never had I gotten a wrong order.

I've always wanted to have lobster here. Maybe I should just get it fresh and cook ala Julia Childs at home....

and if you dont want to wait in line for a long time? they open at 10am. Try getting there before noon, it will save you time for sure. then they close at 4pm I believe,

I like this type of place, simple fresh seafood and the bustle of the crowd.  Your order is ready in a flash.  Unfortunately, I'm not too crazy about fried seafood.  I ordered the fish & mussels plate and it was so greasy I felt nauseous afterwards. In their defense I was partially at fault haven eaten several big cookies on the way there.  I probably should have ordered something else - like the more expensive grilled giant shrimp & giant scallops plate (16.25).

I have on occasion visisted this spot for roughly 15 years. As the prices have climbed sky high, the serving sizes have steadily decreased, now to a point, i have asked myself "why bother." The food is always the same ( that is not a complaint ), the value is just not there. When an establishment starts charging for a small size side of cocktail or tartar sauce you have to wonder.

Hit China town instead

The one thing missing from this establishment is the ocean.  The place is designed as though it should be on the warf.  Guess you can't have it all.  Anyways, there are enough reviews on the food.  I got the sampler the last time.  It was good and it was heavy.  I do want to comment about the parking though.  Their lot is located behind the establishment but  is too small for the amount of business they drum up.  So imagine a pseudo valet that is based purely on the honor system.  You pull into the lot and the guy tells you to park.  You leave your keys with him and you DON'T get a ticket or anything.  You just hope he doesn't give your car to the wrong person.  While you eat, he shuffles cars around and when you get back, he some how remembers your face and your car and directs you to where he moved your car last.  Not sure if you are supposed to tip.  So if you have a really nice car, ask your friend who has that hooptie to drive.  Else, look for street parking.

Fisherman's outlet may not look like much. Being nothing more that a tiny old building close to skid row, you would never expect this place to be one of the best places to get the freshest seafood in LA that transforms into an awesome place to have a quality seafood lunch. (Restaurant only open 10:00 am - 3:30 pm). This place has attained Legen...wait for it...dary status among many LA locals for serving up delicious food that would be fit for a Prince (Adam).

Fisherman's Outlet is one of the few places in LA where you can experience "a real slice of life." People from all walks of life come to eat here. Professionals, laborers, students, and even royalty all come together to dine at "the fish place."

Located on Central and 5th, Fisherman's Outlet is a short drive from downtown LA. Seating is limited to a choice between covered (patio) or uncovered outdoor eating. The eating area is relatively clean for being outside. However, I must warn you of the birds, who frequent this joint, and any special gifts that they may bear.

The staff is incredibly energetic, exciting and efficient. It's a little bit like the battle for the fate of Eternia in this place. It can get a little crazy since it is always crowded and there are at least 15 people working behind the counter yelling at each other. The staff working the counter must have incredible memories because they can somehow remember everyone's orders without having to write anything down. The restaurant system employed by Fisherman's (Wall street trading floor style) must be brilliant because the service is surprisingly fast and the orders are always accurate.

If you can't find nearby parking on the street, (probably preferred) you can always park in the "valet lot." (free, but tips are appreciated) If you do choose to park in the lot, know that you might be required to leave your keys since the restaurant (and the parking lot) can get incredibly crowded at lunch and they may need to double park your car.

All of the food is served on/with disposable containers so it is easy enough to toss it in the trash once you've finished eating, or (more likely) take your leftovers home for dinner.

Fisherman's Outlet boasts an expansive menu with more seafood options than Man-At-Arms's weapon collection. They offer a variety of charbroiled fish, prepared so perfectly that it makes you wonder of the "Power of Grayskull," was used to cook them. Most dishes are served with your choice of french fries or rice and coleslaw, and one type of sauce (Garlic butter, Cajun, Teriyaki). These dishes range in price from $10 - $13. I personally, am partial to the Sea Bass with rice and cajun sauce.

There is also the option to order any one of their fried dishes. Their deep frier fries up many delicious foods such as: fish filets, shrimp, scallops, crab cakes, catfish strips, calamari, sand dabs, (no idea what that is) and even whole fish. All served with fries, coleslaw and a sauce. All somewhat oily (it IS fried food). All delicious.

Although I am fully convinced that everything here is delicious, my favorite dish has to be the giant combo. (Giant shrimp + Giant Scallops) When they say giant, the meant GIANT. I had no idea seafood like this even existed. I am inclined to believe that Orko used his magic to make them grow. Even at the steep price of $16.25 the giant combo is a great deal.

There are very few places that can consistently create delicious seafood dishes that appeal to everyone. I'm truly glad that I've had the opportunity to eat here and I hope that others try it out. If you live anywhere near this place, hop on Battle Cat, Wind Raider, Road Ripper, Dragon Walker, or whatever your mode of transportation is and head over to try their food. But don't take my word for it. Dun-Dun Dunt. (Reading Rainbow sound)

I don't care if I have to wait for an hour to get my fill of fresh fish... this place is hands down the best "fast" seafood joint in LA. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their salmon. I usually pair it on top of their salad (which is not much considering it's just a bed of lettuce). I get the butter sauce so I don't use the dressing they provide since the salmon is already so juicy.

My bf always tries something new like their swordfish and we occasionally get their crabcakes. I wouldn't  necessarily recommend the crabcakes since they're just decent but ALL of their fish is great!

It's also great just to people watch here while you're searching desperately for a table during lunch hours. Most people order their fish and chips but I'm not a big fan of fried foods (except for fries!) so if you want your fill of fries, just pair your fish with that.

I came here for a nice Saturday lunch with my pops. Valet parking is free but of course you can tip. At first this place looks like a mad house. Orders screaming and a massive amount of people crammed into the small space. But once you get up to place your order, you realized it's actually pretty well organized.

We both ordered the Sea Bass but one with Cajun, one with Garlic Butter, one with fries, one with rice. On top of that I ordered a small Seafood Chowder and an Orange Bang. The Sea Bass was delicious but the Seafood Chowder was okay. Of course I'm probably spoiled since I went crazy for chowder in Boston.

There are plenty of tables so it wasn't hard to find a seat even though the place looked insanely busy and cramped. There was a massive gathering of little birdies (thankfully not pigeons) and I just couldn't resist throwing a small piece of French fry to one. The quickest one got to it and flew away before any of the others could try to snatch it.

On the side is their market where they sell a variety of fish. Here, we bought some more Sea Bass for a future delicious dinner. So this is the source of the yummy Sea Bass dinners...

Everytime I've been to this place, I break my diet.  I say I'm going for something healthy, perhaps some grilled fish, and then, my cravings kick in for some good ol fried seafood.

Great Fried Shrimp, Fried Scallops, Fried (well, you get the picture). All the fried stuff is great.  Even the fried Mystery fish (If my memory serves me correctly, its fried "white fish".

Its a bit pricey, for what you get, but obviously worth it, cause I keep returning.  As far as "fresh"... I'm not so sure.  Its hard to tell when something is "fresh" when its breaded, fried, and double-dipped is cocktail sauce.

It was sooo good and I have alot of leftovers. It's all seafood...yummay. Next time I am tring the jumbo shrimp with melted butter and some soup. Good Lord that shrimp looked grrrrrreat!

The cashiers were very friendly.

ABSOLUTE DELICIOUS CHAOS

Lunch today was halibut with fries and a side of cole slaw with a large ice-T. D had the mahi-mahi. Absolutely delicious

Parking was convenient, and even though the place was packed at 12 noon, there was some semblance of order to the chaos. It took only a minute to order, and a brief wait for the grilled fish and fries. There was plenty of seating outside, and the ambiance was that of an outdoor picnic.

I've been here before, but it was take-out. And if you want really fresh fish, it's worth paying a little more at the Fisherman's Outlet. Lunch for two: $30.

Exceeds expectations! After reading great reviews from fellow yelpers of the freshness and the wholly deliciousness of FOSR, I've decided to take my mom on a tasting spree to Fisherman's Outlet Seafood Restaurant and, man, I fell in love. Here is a list of reasons why I am so thrilled with fresh and delicious seafood:

1. I am allergic to seafood that is not fresh. Meaning, I usually develop reaction (hives) from unfresh seafood usually within 15 minutes and I can usually tell the first time that it hits my tongue. By the third bite, if my tongue is not swollen or my throat is not throbbing, it is semi-fresh. If it lasts through the 12th bite, it is in the 85 percentile of freshness.

2. I have at least tasted two dishes off their menu.

3. Because I consider cost and the value of the dish.

With that said, it is logical to listen to me and go!

Now, onto the evaluation of seafood. First off, the New England Clam Chowder. Okay, I admit. We were a bit too excited and, as such, arrived before the restaurant opened. Not wanting to waste time,. we ordered a large bowl of New England Clam Chowder from the market counter  which opens at 8 a.m., for around $5 bucks. Yet, just to be clear, having tasted Clam Chowder Soup in San Francisco, I was a bit ... thrown off by the taste of their recipe for the New England Clam Chowder Soup. Obviously, it's not as salty and creamy as ones in San Francisco, yet the freshness and undeniable intriguing ingredients nevertheless made it comparable in satisfying the tastebuds.

Second, the sampler dish and dish number two, fish and scallops (10.50 and 9.50 dollars, respectively). What can I say, they're great! Extremely fresh ingredients, coupled with huge proportions made their place, obviously, the most popular eaterie in Los Angeles-- downtown that is. I especially LOVE their tomato/ketchup sauce because they're custom made and is oh so delicious! Although, I have to say, don't get in line if you don't have your mind made up, they've got quite a crowd even at 10 in the morning, I could just imagine how you can be devoured if you went there the first time, in the afternoon, and went blindly in line--- hypothetically speaking.

Despite that, and the fact that it seems like all the workers there were males, I'd give them a 4 star, heck.. even a 4.5 (I don't know how to add the half point on the rating scheme) for their services. It is a gem and you should definitely go check it out!

Came here on Saturday and it was busy. The concept is interesting. Fresh fish from the market to the customer, broiled [my preference] or fried to perfection. It's a market concept. You order, wait for your order and sit and eat at tables. The benefits are you get fresh fish and seafood cooked with no frills. The con's are it can be hot, messy and lacking in any innovation. There is no table service, so you order eat and leave. There is no ambiance, frills, or scenery. Chose the broiled salmon and seabass. The fish was broiled perfectly. The side choices are fries, rice or salad. The fries were acceptable - not anything special. Sauces - choice of three. If I had to repeat - I'd probably purchase at the market and cook it to my taste.

This place is an awesome spot for lunch. They have the freshest seafood around and they know how the prepare it. You can get many different types of seafood prepared a few different ways. I mostly get the jumbo/giant shrimp with garlic butter and rice. It is delicious. The sea bass is really good as well. The fish is so moist and flaky. It's kind of crazy, ok not kind of crazy it is CRAZY when you order. They don't write anything down they just yell it out. Ordering can be kind of intimidating if its your first time, but don't worry I've been there many times and it's still intimidating. You sit outside on these benches and it almost feels like you are eating at a seafood spot next to the ocean. Best lunch I ever had!

Really great fried fish is one of my favorite comfort foods.  My wife has been swearing by Fisherman's Outlet and I told her I remember it being just so so.  I wanted to go to Five Guys (thx Brad).  So today guess where we went?  Fisherman's Outlet.

This place has been here since 1961 and it's a great location as it's just off of Jtown with ample parking.  Mostly men, city workers, dwp, you get the picture.  Mostly fried fish, shrimp, fries, you get the picture.  I had the fried fish and shrimp combo with a clam chowder and soda which came to $18.15.

The seating is outdoors under a patio.  I went to check out the fresh fish section while my wife grabbed a table.  So I walk out, see my wife, and start talking to her behind her back about everything I saw and about how cool it is they have outside heaters.  Shit, it wasn't my wife but some other woman.  An old mexican lady.  She turns around and just stares at me while I'm smiling and saying blah blah blah.  The other people at the other tables were laughing.  Yeah, sure it's funny, ha ha ha.  Funny to me too when I tell my real wife and point out the lady I thought was her. ha ha ha.

More story here than food folks.  The chowder was good, I would go pick some up again.  But that fried fish was way thin with too much breading.  The big piece had fish the thickness of a McDonalds filet o fish and the other two pieces were half as thick.  Breading was nice and crunchy, but the ratio was way wrong for me.  The shrimp was probably 50/lb size and I thought even that had too much breading to shrimp ratio.  I ate one piece of fish, a few shrimp, and threw the rest away.  Not to be snobby, but I got to pick and choose my calories - u know?

I asked my wife why did you tell me this place was so good?  She said she likes a lot of breading and not a lot of fish.  That figures.  Did I mention she hates fish? She was sort of laughing at me.  ha ha ha

Being hungry I drove up 1st street to pick up an Al & Beas green chile cheese burrito (thx GI J), then noticed the lines were already going down the sidewalk.  So I drove on.  ha ha ha on me again.

While driving home I thought about the Grilled Salmon with a reduction on top of creamy potatoes and spring salad that I had at Sesame Grill yesterday for $9.95.  So, on top of everything else I started to feel ripped off.  Oh well, just another ha ha ha day in my life.

Went here for the first time last week. I've heard so much about this place and how great it is!

First, there were tons of people eating there and the line wasn't too long actually. Second, these guys work fast and we got the 6 orders in no time at all! Third, I was surprised by the nice big parking lot just for Fisherman's Outlet patrons. Yay for not having to drive around for parking. Even tho I wasn't the one driving.

I ordered the fried scallop plate, I think it was around $8. There were a ton of little scallops on top of french fries and a side of coleslaw. The french fries were bad! I couldn't eat any of them. My office isn't that far away from this place, and they were cold by the time we got back to work. Not even a little warm :(  The scallops were still good tho, even cold!

I agree that the portions are really good and the food is above average. The coleslaw had dill in it. Barf.

Absolutely some of the freshest and best seafood I have ever had and I used to live on the west coast of Florida.  I typically get the Mahi-Mahi, but the scallops are excellent too.

They only take cash and expect to pay about $15 for most meals.  It's very, very busy at lunch, but the service is outstanding.  It's truly a great experience.

Why do I love this place?
It's not the fried food and it's not the guy selling bootleg D'Angelo concert t-shirts and/or combs out front.
It's the process of ordering from what can only be described as a Nuyorican while waiting in a long line and fearing he'll get your order wrong because he just asked 30 other people ahead of you what they wanted and didn't write any of it down. But alas, Latin chinstrap lover always gets it right, and out come my perfectly seasoned seared Jumbo Scallops, on a bed of lettuce (non-rabbits can get rice), with spicy red sauce and a side of mango salsa. More expensive than the fried goods but well worth it. Plus at least the Skid Row adjacent atmosphere cheapens the meal.

This place is an LA institution. During Good Friday, the line goes out the door and winds down the block. Its loud, it's hectic, you have to be assertive when you order, it's good eats, and it's got Angelino character written all over it.

Try the grilled giant shrimp and scallops combo. You won't be sorry. Sure it's a little pricey, but this is seafood we're talkin' about here. Your best value is probably in the fried combos. They really pile on the fish, shrimp, and scallops like there's no tomorrow. Very fresh and very good quality product here.

I've been coming here for years and will continue to get hooked up here when I'm jonesing for some good portioned, relatively decent priced seafood.

On my way through downtown LA on Saturday and hungry, I headed toward The Pantry which had a line in front of it. Second choice was The Fisherman's Outlet.

What a place. Everyone from everywhere is there, the guys behind the counter are passing out dishes as fast as possible, lot's of yelling inside, and finally my turn to scream out what I want for lunch.

I had Ceviche and broiled swordfish. Delicious.

For those who like fried seafood, you will like this place a lot.

Good experience.

Quick, noisy, greasy, good, cheap, think of a blunt, irreverent fast food place serving fish with a view toward volume. If you are the type of customer that needs touchy-feely personal one on one service you may get your feelings bruised here.

The people watching is almost as good as the seafood. It's a real cross-cultural mishmash. Today I had grilled mahi mahi with fries and a small cup of clam chowder. The chowder was good, though I have had better. It needed salt and to be just a little thicker. Not bad though, just couldn't hold up to the chowder I have had in SF. The fries, well, they're fries. Nothing special. I ate a few but could have done without them. The mahi mahi was the star f the show. It was perfectly cooked, flaky, fresh and not dry at all. Pretty good portion size too. I didn't walk away hungry for my $18. It's cash only, but they do have an ATM in case you forget.

This place is what really keeps me in LA.  Everytime I feel hateful towards Los Angeles, I come here and remember that its all worth it!  I have so many memories of this place, my dad would take me and my family here for lunch on weekends when I was really little and  I used to always order the fried shrimp plate.  Now when I go, I order the salmon plate. It's the absolute best place to eat in Downtown, maybe in all of LA. Even my friend who doesn't like fish, loved this place.

The things that most people complain about, such as the long lines, pigeons everywhere, etc... don't take away from the quality of the food and probably give the place some character.  At least that's how I see it.  Actually, the only thing I don't like about this place is the fact that they close around 3pm.

I love seafood and it doesn't get any fresher than Fisherman's.

On his days off, my dad will drive to downtown to pick me up from work for lunch and this is one of our haunts. It can get pretty crowded during the lunch rush so one of us will usually try to find a table while the other orders the food. The actual ordering process can be a little bit hectic because of the way it's organized and the crowds but the food is well worth it.  There's covered outdoor seating so bring a jacket if it's chilly outside.

As for the food - it's DELICIOUS. You can opt for fried or grilled seafood, various cocktails, and more. The food comes with fries & coleslaw (which I don't eat so I can't vouch for) and I have never left without a full tummy.

Fisherman's has a lot of LA history and it's definitely worth a visit.

Great grub...right by my work....been coming here for years...and can't say really anything bad about it.....seafood at this price should be on everyones to do list. the place is fast paced and if you show up around lunch time everything should be hot and ready to go.

The jumbo scallops are awesome!

they have fried stuff..but they have some grilled stuff worth note.....although i think i tend to stay away from the lobster as it's the most expensive thing on the menu..usually over $30

anyway....garlic butter clogs my veins because of this place..and i love it...jumbo shrimp is good...grilled salmon or tuna is good stuff too..

This place reminds me markets in China - LOUD! But I totally love it! I am not really a big fan of fish but I can taste the freshness. I had halibut combo I believed (came with fries) and it's just more than I expected. I also tried my friend's order which was grilled salmon; and I have to say, that salmon is softer than any grilled salmon that I've ever had before.
This place is super crowded during lunch because people who work at Downtown LA like me go there to have a good comfort food. And it's closed by 5:30 pm.
I will definitely bring my girlfriend to this place again. LOVE IT!

After i read all the positive feedback, i drove all the way to the Fisherman outlet today and tried their seafood plate. I ordered their fish and scallop - 9.75. The plate has a good portion. It came with 2 regular size fish fillet and a couple dozen of tiny scallop. The scallop is fresh and spongy, and the fish is too (but not much of favor from the fish). But after i finished the first fish fillet and a half dozen of scallop, my taste became same for every bite afterward. Since there is a lot of breading, the fish and the scallop both starts to lose favor.. I think if i come here with my friend, then we can just try little, it could be fun. But the plate is large, place is hot and loud. The experience is like to-go outdoor. With a drink, it charges 12.95. So my experience is so so. Frankly, I was little disappointed because I thought it is "THE PLACE" for fish / scallop / chip. But apparently, it is not to me.

Food - 4/5
Environment - 1/5
Price - 3/5
view - 0/5
people watching - 2/5

My journey will continue and hunt for my fish and chip experience.

Those who crave North Shores Hawaii garlic shrimp trucks, this is the place to sustain that craving just for awhile.  The shrimps plates are great; there big has half the size of a fist and plenty of garlic sauce.  Just enough until you return to Oahu!

I've been coming here since I was a child with my mom because she works nearby. When I was a kid, I'd only eat the fried fish and french fries but over time I've tried pretty much everything on the menu. The charbroiled fish is the best, I really love the salmon and the sea bass--so buttery and tender. My mom always gets the giant scallop and shrimp combo, and you know it's fresh because when you eat it hot, it melts in your mouth (wait too long, though, and it just tastes like something frozen and microwaved, booo). I really like their crispy hot fries and the Cajun sauce is the BOMB. Mix it with the also buttery rice, if you opt for something mildly healthier.

Yeah, it's a long line, but they move fast. Know what you want to order! Don't be that idiot at the front still staring at the menu; that only makes the rest of us hate you. The security guard inside is really nice and always recognizes me and says hi. Ask him for a rec if you can't decide what to get.

The only thing is that the parking lot is a pain in the ass: tiny narrow spots with huge ass cars scraping right up close to your door. Then again, it's L.A. so at least you don't have to pay to park.

If you manage to find yourself in this part of town come lunch time, you will be looking for something to eat.  The lines here during lunch can be a bit much, but they do  move you through the line quickly.  You might want to take some ear plugs with you to hold on to your sanity.

CASH ONLY and they have an ATM on site.

The food is good.  My favorites:  The Garlic Roll, Clam Chowder, Grilled Tuna, Grilled Shrimp,  and Grilled Lobster.  You get your choice of fries or rice with each plate.  Coleslaw comes with everything.

How to avoid the lines?  2 options:  1. call in and order take out 2.  Order your food (limited selection, but still good) from the COLD/FISH MARKET SIDE of this establishment.  You can not get grilled fish on this side, but you can get plenty of good finds and not wait in the long lines.

They close early, this is not a go to dinner after work kind of place.

If you want your fish well done, just ask for it and it will be perfect.

They raised the prices about a year ago.

I love this place for cheaper fish without the fancy restaurant. The area is less than desirable. I have been coming here for probably over 20 years. Back then, it was a very cheap place to eat with huge, quality fish. It IS a crazy place if you are not used to it.
I always get grilled fish (swordfish),  my mom the seafood salad, my dad gets grilled halibut or shrimp and scallops. I remember paying only about $6 or $7 for the swordfish - now it's probably near $15. I haven't been there this past year since I just moved back home to LA. Can't wait to go back there very soon.

Why 2 stars?

Well because when I ordered the shrimp & fish plate it was nasty. The white cod fish is like the microwavable fish dinners they sell at supermarkets... at least Mc Donalds make it much tastier than this place. The shrimp was even nastier... no seasoning in the batter and the shrimp wasn't even warm.

The guys behind the counter weren't even paying attention to my man when he asked them a question. They were talking amongst each other and then I had to speak to them in spanish to get their asses to pay attention. When I asked if I could have shrimp with no batter... they couldn't do it.. bullshit.

The only thing I can say was good was that my man got a fried tilipia (which was good), french fries (were also good), and they had amazing cole slaw.

I grew up going to this place. This is my favorite seafood place of all time. Biggest hint for everyone. DO NOT go during business lunch hours because it gets packed. Good thing though is that the line usually moves fast. The cashiers and waiter are in turbo mode so they try to get you in and out ASAP.

4 stars for food but 3 stars for service.  yeah it was quick and yummie, but come on.  the buy behind the counter acted like i've been there before and hurried me along with my order.  i don't even think he made eye contact with me.

it was my first time there after passing by i don't even know how many times. i even told him to get some newbie luv, but nada!  oh well.  i took a menu with me so i can study it before going back.  that's right, i'll go back again, but i'll know exactly what i want to order and not ask for help.

The seafood is really taste really great.  You can tell it's fresh since you can flavor the sweetness of the shrimps and scallops. Not frozen like most places.  Service is quick. The only thing I didn't like was that the place is a bit dirty.  No one really cleans up.

Afraid of fried foods? Afraid of not eating healthy? Can't take the heat? Don't come here and clog up the lines here for the rest of us. The line is long enough. Luckily when my co-workers and I would come here, we have a better way in. We've been here so many times in the past, we are already sick of this place. Although, it's time to write a review since it's now the hottest place on Yelp.

What we would do is figure out what everyone wants. You don't have to order it fried, it comes broiled and doesn't have to have fries. Rice would be offerred too. Different sauces to choose from as well. Cajun, teriyaki or tarter sauce with lemon. When you order it cajun or teri, it comes with rice already. I usually pig out and go trifecta with the sauces. The trick is, get enough people in on this and be able to call in your order. Rush down here and bypass the line and walk up to the front. Check your orders because I work closer to the 110 and it would be hard to come back if you're missing something.

I've tried every type of fish here imaginable that you can order. Salmon, halibut, sea bass, to name a few but I always like the shrimp cocktail. Only if I could add vodka to it, it would be the most awesome bloody mary for lunch. The lunch time here, the line does get long. So if you don't come here closer to 11AM before those government people get here, good luck.

View the website and take a look at the menu before you step in line. Know what you are going to order before you get to the cashier.
