RETIRED
I love Dr. Fisher for many reasons. Top on the list is his crisis managment performance on a tooth that needed a root canal.
My old dentist was trying to save one of my teeth by applying an immense filling, but their novacane was not effective. He kept giving me more; as he would start to drill, I would start to cry until I eventually left the office, tear-stained and slobbery. I stumbled into Dr. Fisher's office with a gaping hole in my tooth.
He called a root canal specialist, told him it was an emergency, and got me an appointment immediately. He then called a cab, put me in it and told me to come back for a cleaning. Which I do regularly.
Dr. Fisher is not only good at crisis managment. I've visited him on several occasions without insurance and he's x'-rayed, cleaned and done a small filling or two for under a hundred bucks. He sends me off by saying "a beautiful princess like you deserves a better job, with dental coverage."
Dr. Fisher is a good man and an honest dentist. I've been using him for years and don't intend to change any time soon.

Fred Fisher is a character. He refers to men as 'my brother', 'tall guy', and women as 'princess'. This is dentistry from another time.
His office is a little crazy, but he seems, from the number of patients, to be doing a great job. I was recommended by a friend and I have to say for everyday fillings he's great.

Dr. Fisher is your grandpa who gives you advice on all sorts of things, dental or otherwise. He has a cadre of efficient dental hygienists who get things done in a jiffy. My fondest memory is Dr Fisher using me as an example of "what happens when you don't get a nightguard for bruxism". Poor girl was scared senseless. In return for my services, he gave me a killer deal on my new nightguard. The only downside is the scheduling - hey, the guy's popular.
