900 Baseline Rd.They may not be the biggest, but the best-known peaks in Boulder are the Flatirons. There are 3 big ones, with I believe 3 more smaller ones in the back and a few that are still growing (future Flatirons).
Of course, the 3rd is the favorite of rock climbers, but for hikers, the 1st is the way to go. This is my favorite, favorite trail in Boulder for personal reasons. It's also about as social a trail as you can get: It's got an easy climb, so you don't get too winded; there are dozens of awesome lookouts and shady rocks where you can sit and chat; and overall this easily accessible trail is essentially a vertical playground.
You'll even find a fair amount of wildlife here despite the heavy traffic. Best of all, there are a ton of out-of-the-way spots that you can get to via a quick off-trail jaunt. One of my favorites was sitting on a precarious off-trail ledge during a lightning storm.
Hey, I said it was one of my favorite moments, not one of my smartest.
