I love the Fiore in LA but I hate this location because they don't know how to treat their customers!

I ordered a small blackberry yogurt with three toppings...i got my yogurt...took one bite and realized it was the plain flavor. So I go back to the little girl who made my yogurt and told her I needed a new one because she messed up. But then the older woman, who i believe was the owner or manager, said that I couldn't exchange the yogurt because I already ate out of it! I couldn't believe it...i took one bite...the girl admitted she made a mistake... and so what if i took a bite...would she have saved the yogurt for another customer if i didn't take a bite out of it?? i was so angry. all i wanted was what i ordered. the yogurt probably cost her 50 cents to make and i paid $4 for that thing. since she wasn't going to give me what i wanted or a refund...i threw the yogurt on the ground behind the counter...threw the napkins on the floor and said "here use these to clean it up" and walked away.

i would never return to this location. but i do love fiore's yogurt.

if you're looking for a pinkberry fix, this is the place to get it.  it is very expensive though!  no generosity here.  everything gets weighed.  low-cal yes, but after going to Fro-Yo Bar on King St., this place gets only gets 3 stars.

This place tastes pretty close to Pinkberry...but it's a bit pricier and doesn't offer mochi as a topping. =(  I already thought Pinkberry was a bit pricey, but this place costs even more with only one topping ($6) vs Pinkberry's three toppings ($5)!!!

After A and I enjoyed our wannabe Pinkberry froyo...we didn't realize we would be hit hard with after effects.  We both had horrible stomach aches (diarrhea kind of stomach ache...okie TMI)...don't know if it's b/c we're semi-lactose intolerant (we forgot to take our lactaid, but this doesn't happen to me with Pinkberry) or if the yogurt is past it's expired life...I have no clue.  Seems like it's a common trend for everyone to get a stomach ache as a result of eating Fiore's froyo....per Stella C.'s review.

2 stars b/c it tasted good, but minus 3 stars for the after effects, expensive price and no mochi topping.  I'm not sure if I'll be back for more, my stomach was pretty upset...I think next time I'll hit up the Dole Pineapple Softserve instead....only 20 ft away....$2.50, refreshing dessert and no stomach ache...sounds like a better deal to me.

Edit 8/4/07:  My friend tried the froyo again this weekend....took a lactaid and ordered a small....and didn't have a stomach ache this time.  The stomach aches previously may have been due to us being lactose intolerent....so make sure to take your lactaid if your lactose intolerent.

when i went in late september, the girl said they were closing the next day because the rent was too high, but not sure if they actually did close or not. i paid about $5 for a small natural flavored yogurt with strawberries and mochi balls. it was pretty good -- thicker and tangier than pinkberry (which i think i still like better, but both are good).

i wrote the address down on a post-it and stuck it in my wallet for safekeeping before i left for hawaii specifically to try this place as i know it  precedes pinkberry. being the princess that i am, i kindly demanded us to park close by to fiore and i made a quick run and eventually losing my friends somewhere in the massive food court just to grab my first serving. on our way back out, i got yet another serving. two mediums that day cost me about 12 dollars. !!!. but worth every penny. and the stomach ache that came later.

minus 1 star for being so pricey, but plus 4 stars for being extremely yummy just as i expected. and open up a northern california location, san francisco or oakland/berkeley would be perfect. thanks!
