I've been here a couple times for massages, mani- and pedicures. Though the interior is cheesy and could use updating, I've received good treatments each time. I really enjoyed getting a massage with my choice of essential oil (wish there were more choices since I wasn't overly fond of any) followed by a good amount of time in the jetted tub. I definitely left in a better state than I had come in, if a bit greasier. They tend to be a bit on the more expensive end of the scale for these services, so I don't come in as often as I might like.

Also, should the owners come across this review:
Your replies to the reviews on CitySearch aren't helping you. If anything I think they would scare away potential customers, since the author comes across very harsh and defensive. I'm a satisfied customer and it makes me think twice about coming back.

I've been to Finishing Touch for two manicures now, and I don't know that I'll be going back. While it's an OK place to get a manicure, there are cheaper salons that do a better job. The most recent manicure (since the last one was a few years back and I can't really remember it, I don't get manicures often enough...) was really a disaster. She missed a good centimeter of nail at the top, so it looked like my freshly manicured nails had already grown out a bit. There were also bubbles all throughout the polish. I had to buy a bottle of the polish to fix it a few days later, and even then it still looked bad. She was also kind of rude & didn't really make my experience there a relaxing one (and with my life the way it is sometimes, I definitely need to relax when I can). I just felt like she could have been a lot more hospitable. Being that I work in the retail industry, I know what good customer service should be... and I've never received more than half-decent service at Finishing Touch. I will definitely be looking for a better place to get my nails done.

I reviewed this place on citysearch, and I'll add a brief comment here. This was the most disappointing hair salon I've ever been to. Neither shampoo or styling is included in the price. The interior is tacky. The stylist had what I can only describe as a very low-level of haircutting skill and no apparent knowledge of any short haircut beyond a simple bob, despite me showing her a picture of what I wanted. She took one brief look at it and cut my hair to that *length* without any of the layers or style. I kept prompting her to cut some layers, and she would cut a few times, then look at me and say, ok? What do you think? After five or six times of prompting her to cut more layers, I finally gave up the haircut for lost, got out of the chair and left. Beware, however, that at least at the time of my haircut (about a year ago), if you're unhappy with a haircut the salon will only allow you to come back in to see the *same* stylist (which is of no use if that stylist is incapable of styling anything other than a bob). I did return a few days later to try again, tried to give clearer directions from the picture I gave her, but the reason I go to a hair stylist is because there are things *I* don't understand about how to cut hair, and I need a stylist who can interpret pictures into technique. I can't tell you how and where to cut my hair to make it look like the picture! Honestly, I think the worst part is that the owner cyber yells accusatory responses at anyone who has anything less than positive to say about the salon on citysearch (check it out it's rather disturbing). Why support a place like that? Little customer service, inadequate guarantee of good service and remediation if you get bad service, overpriced for the "a la carte" (no shampoo, no styling) services, and terrible ambiance ($40 or so). I got a full-service, *great* haircut at Urban Pearl for $45! I suggest that at least for a haircut, you go elsewhere.

This place was recommended by a friend of mine who frequently gets pedicures here and I have to say I was disappointed with the long-term outcome.  My time there was nice, the massage felt good, the folks were pleasant, and they offered us coffee and other drinks.  However, and I don't know if this is nail stylist-dependent, the pedicure didn't even last one week!  That's a bit too short considering I paid $45 + tip.  I believe I had a woman who's named Mary (?).  I noticed that she used a different top coat application than the other ladies there...could that've been the problem?  I don't think I'll go back, unfortunately...
