Cool place nice vibe. Horse betting is everywhere.

This place wasn't far from the KOA, which is the reason My family and I came here. The burgers were nothing special. I assume everyone comes here for the betting and beer. I would only go back if I wanted to drink and bet.

HORRRRIBLE SERVICE!! This place is made for alcohol and betting on the ponies! My opinion, this place should've just been a bar with gambling, not a place to eat as well. The tv's are everywhere with racing and sporting events. the vibe is pretty chill, the times I've been there the crowd was ok.

This particular time there were about 20 patrons in the food area. Waiter was taking forever to come and ask if we needed anything else. I wanted to order some bbq wings, so I walked up to the counter and asked if I could order, the old bitchy lady says "are you at a table? then you could order form there" I say well,Ive been wating for the waiter for a half hour, she says"I'll send him over". So from another half hour I finally order my wings and a couple of soda's. Refills took another 10mins to get. Wings are good!! My friends ordered the pulled pork nachos delicious!

Go here for beer and racing not for the food or service.

I had high hopes for this place. I live nearby and drive pass it's sign advertising NFL Sunday Ticket everyday on my way to work.
This last Sunday was our first and last visit to the Finish Line. We were drawn in by the proximity to our home, free appetizer with Yelp check in and the promise of NFL ticket.
Overall the atmosphere is ripe for people watching, there are many ( approx 12) large flat screens, and the space is well lit and has a decent layout.
We arrived at 9:30am to get a prime table to watch the Packers game which wasn't until 1:15pm. We had a few drinks ( bloody marys and mimosas were good), a few appetizers ( skip brisket nachos and brisket fries), breakfast burritos (were edible, not worth $5).

As game time approached, then passed our group and 5-7 others started looking around for the Packers/Bears game. Unbeknownst to us MANY people had already complained to the servers and the manager. My cousin's husband asked the manager why the game was not on and the manager was short with him saying that we had to wait for the previous game to finish, that it was Fox's fault (What happened to NFL Sunday Ticket????). Joe asked since there were so many people there for this specific game if they could put it on the largest TV which was the only game with sound. The manager pulled out a paper and stated that the TVs were mapped out weeks ago and pointed to a smaller TV in the corner. Mapping out the TVs is understandable but it would be nice if there was a little flexibility based on the demographic of people watching the games. We started tracking the game on our ESPN apps so as to know what was happening. The game finally came on the seconds later was changed to another channel showing the same game as a neighboring TV. We caught the managers eye and he said he would get right on it but stated that it was " the man upstairs" who controlled the TV channels and he would see what he could do. After a considerable amount of time the channel was changed back to Fox.
Our server (pleasant enough) checked on us and asked how we were doing. My cousin mentioned being disappointed in the coordination of the games and the abrupt nature of the manager. Our server immediately went on the defensive and started overtaking me when I tried to explain we were frustrated with the manager not her. She informed us that 16 people had already complained and that they had no control the "man upstairs" did. Things immediately became awkward and we considered leaving but the guys wanted to watch the game. I decided that I should apologize in case I came across as snippy and did so. The server continued to defend her manager's attitude and stated that they had similar problems last week( if this happened last week too they should have been on it from the start!) I decided to apologize and order more food for the table so as to not occupy her station for hours without ordering anything. Out of chicken strips, popcorn, a burger , and club sandwich, the club sandwich the only thing that could be considered good.
Soon horse racing was creeping onto the TVs and at the last play of the game the manager or "man upstairs" switched the game to another TV across the room! Everyone missed the last play and there were many, many unhappy patrons at that point.
Our server brought us our bills and I took the card and bill to her. She returned the copies for me to sign and I saw then bill had been switched for a table with many shots of tequila. I brought this to her attention, she remedied the problem and we were on our way. I left her a generous tip as I am a former server and I know how it can be when thing go haywire. I wish the manager was more in control of his sports bar. I promptly when home and ordered DirecTv and NFL ticket. We were all sorely disappointed with the way this establishment is run and my family will not let me pick a new bar/restaurant from now on :(

This is my place to go watch UFC events.  There is always room to sit especially when you get there on time for the prelims.  The place is nice, they even have a pool table.  The food is pretty good, not the best, but good to stuff to eat during the fights, game, etc.  The only bad thing is they take FOREVER to get you food out.  The waiters get confused or become to0 busy that they either forget to place the order or bring you the food when it's ready.  If I was basing this on service alone I would probably give them a 3, because there is no 2.5.  All they need to improve is on service and this place would be near perfect. :)

This bar is great, the service is excellent and the drinks are cheap. The food is also pretty good. Good place to go to when seeing sports like fights for example, i go there to watch UFC fights and the place gets packed so make sure to get there on time.

The reason to go here is to bet the horses, watch football or view some pay-per-view.  This is not a place to go for good food.  The menu is littered with items that sound appealing but this place just cannot pull off.

I have been here a number of times to watch football games and attend horse shows next door at the Fairplex arena.  The result is always the same no matter what I try; meat is shoe leather tough, portions are way too small for sports bar fare, BBQ sauce is too sweet and tastes canned and the appetizers are all crummy (except the Nachos).

The first time I visited this place I went with a brisket burger.  The burger was good; the BBQ Brisket that was supposed to be paced on top of the was a dollop the size of a thimble; maybe they ran out.  On subsequent visits I tried the Super Tough Steak Sandwich.  God awful.  Tried the Beef Dip.  Skimpy on the too-thickly-sliced roast beef piled on a decent roll that was supposed to be dipped in something that was definitely not Au Jus.  The Philly Cheesesteak was just bad, bad, bad.  The worst of the lot was the Pulled Pork Sandwich.  The pork is not smoked, the BBQ sauce is watery and too sweet and the coleslaw they spoon on top of the thing is appalling.  Do not order this sandwich.

The facilities here are terrific.  Lots of flat panels, easy access to betting ( they have a really nice horse betting zone on the opposite side of the bar), and a nice beer garden outside with more big screens that is smoker friendly.  The facilities are worth the trip here; just stick with the Brisket Nachos and a plain old hamburger and you will be fine.  Those two items alone are better than anything you will find at Santa Anita.

Bored? Then go to Finish line and bet on horse races and order some wings + beer! If you come during happy hour (3-7), you can get pitchers for $9 and some bar food for less than 5 bucks. I came here a few times and had a great time. They have satelite wagers for different race tracks, so that's kind of fun. If you just want to kill some time, bet $2 on a horse and maybe you'll win something! So far 2 for 2 for me! Randomly bet on a horse and won enough money to pay for my gambling and food! Pretty awesome! I would have given this place 5 stars, but if they are busy, you will have to wait quite a long time for your food and for service. Overall, cool place to hangout!

Best waiter I ever had! He was funny, nice, and actually remembered our order down to every detail! Love their 9Pm-closing happy hour. The food was good too, I esp. liked the burger bun they had. It was pretty empty on a thursday night BUT if you're looking to just dine out with friends and have a few drinks then i would def. come here.

This is a great place to watch a sporting event such as a fight etc.

Just don't get lost and end up in the betting area or you might end up either losing big or going home happy.

I came here with a big group to watch a UFC event and this place was well accommodating and also had a massive amount of TVs, so that you will not miss any action anyway you turn.

Tip: Get here early. anywhere to be honest. If you don't get anywhere early, you may be stuck with an awkward spot or sat away from your friends... etc.

This place is worth a shot when you here BWW or Hootr$ is way packed.

How is it that I never herd about this place before? I discovered this place from the digital ad off the 10 freeway, promoting the UFC fight at this bar and other upcoming Fairplex events, being the huge MMA fan that I am, I took notice and stored it in the back of my mind, fortunately the storage is doing at least 3 stars, unlike the back, knees etc.., because I remembered it and hunted down the place 2 weeks ago to watch Silva vs Belfort.
This place has the potential to be 4 stars, its actually only 3 right now because of service problems.
We arrived just as the fights were begining at 7PM, $5 a head to get in. Already inside, all the tables appear to be taken, that does not bother me because I want to know if they have a small patio and sh!tty tv outside so we can smoke and have fresh air. I open the door and drop to my kneees, before me is my mecca. The set up is excellent, specially for me and anyone who smokes or enjoys entertainment in an outdoor patio environment. Huge patio, shaped of course like a horse track and flat screens everywhere, I get giddy just thinking about it!
Outside, almost all the tables were taken as well, we find one just under one of the flat screens and within 10 yards of a beer stand. perfect! I think I can actually live here.
The bartender is a nice, attractive, helpfull and friendly young lady. She gives me the low down on the modest selection of beers available outside, I choose the Stella Ambroise pitcher 64 oz? for $13. As one of my favorites, Forrest Griffin was dominating my pick Ace Franklin, I decided to go to the bar and get a few shots. The bar was packed and I thought I was going to be awhile. Wrong! a pretty dark hair professional bartender spoted me within a minute! i ordered 3 Socos, $15. as I am counting out my money she playfully told me and the guys at the bar about her unpleasant experience with drinking SoCo one night. Just awsome! Haven't we all? I wish all bartenders could be like this.
The down side of this place is table and waitress service, none! Not once did we get service from a waitress in the 2 1/2+ hours we were there. I scarcely saw 2 serving the outdoor patio all together and they appeared to be over 50 years old. No offense, I like older ladies serving me, in coffee shops, not here or nightclubs. This is mostly a management problem, there just was not enough servers, The busboys need manners. They need more choice of beers on tap outside. Hopefully this improves soon. I would also like to  have a DJ and dancing outside.
Cant wait for warmer weather, this place should really rock in mid spring and summer.

Tonight was our first time here.   We will be back.

The food was good and the meals are filling.   Our server, Kayla, was friendly and professional.  My only two complaints are that our meals were slow to be delivered (I blame the cook for this, not the servers) and their fountain soft drinks were flat with almost no carbonation.

I really enjoyed my club sandwich--it came with bermuda onions, avocado, and swiss cheese in additon to the lettuce and tomato.  I chose the cole slaw as my side, and it was nice and creamy without being overly so.

My dinner companions chose the beef dip with horseradish (kettle chips as the side) and the All American Burger (beans on the side).  Both were very happy with their selections.

We really love the Finish Line.  Our group meets here regularly for Taco Tuesdays. Small soft tacos but only 99 cents each! Their steak dinner special (on Monday nights) gives you a nice strip steak, salad and a wonderful, fluffy baked potato for $8.99 (up from $6.00). Still a deal! A previous reviewer was right about how to order your steak cooked though...I always order it rare and usually get it medium (which I like). The atmosphere is casual, the waiters and waitresses very friendly and nice and the service is OK (yes..could be a little faster). But when you're there with a group and talking and having fun, no one usually complains.
