Imagine if Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian got together and opened a clothing store in Tahoe. This would be it.
Slightly pricey, but then again, if you are in Tahoe City and in a serious need of shopping there may be nothing else that will meet that need other than this place so you'll at that point, pay any price.
All the good brands you'll find in LA, but in all the styles that will work in Tahoe (ie, keep you warm) yet still make you look like a movie star/socialite from Southern CA.
Yup, my kind of store.
This store is like upscale department store packed into a compact small space. You can find everthing you might want and a zillion things you think you need in this small boutique store. There is a shoe section, men's section, accessories section, amazing jeans selection, t-shirt selection (lots of Michael Stars), sweaters, dresses, jackets, coats, lingerie...you name it. E verything is completely up to date. You can't go wrong if you want to look fashionable or update your look. Everytime I go there I see so many things I want to bring home with me!
Yes, it is expensive (the only bummer). But you will be wearing high quality fashionable clothes that make you feel wonderful. I have loved everything I bought there and got compliments, too!
I just wanted to let everyone know that Fine 'N Funky is having a 10% OFF Sale including other markdowns. And the best part is that there is FREE Shipping on ALL ORDERS. The discount ends February 16, 2009 so be sure to shop today at http://www.shopfinenfu....

One thing that I have to rave about is the girls that work at both of the Fine 'n Funky stores (Reno… Read more »
Cute clothes, shoes, and accessories, but the prices are a bit high and the owner is mean (she once wrongfully accused my sister's friend of stealing!!). Still, this is probably one of the best boutiques in the Tahoe area.
Update: I'm demoting it to two stars. The last few times I have been in there, the service has been horrible. If I'm going to pay that much for clothing I don't need snotty salegirls to go with it.
I spoke to the owner on the phone and she shipped a pair of jeans to me in San Francisco and said she'd even allow me to return them for a refund if they were not the ones I was hoping they were (Genetics Recessive Jeans in Bootcut from 2006 - I couldnt find them anywhere in SF since they were last season and found Fine 'N funky on the Internet!). She could not have been more cool about the whole thing and I got the jeans I was so craving. I'll never forget Fine 'N Funky and hope to visit in person the next time I am in Tahoe City!
