4/16/09 In response to a letter dated 4/14/09 and a phone conversation this afternoon, I would like to follow-up and state that my shampoo, conditioner, cut and styling of hair and eyebrow threading services took 1 hour, 39 minutes.  While this time is accurate, to me it felt longer.  That's the difference.  I wasn't in a rush, I simply felt the environment made it feel longer than it actually was.  First impressions matter.  This business is not a SuperCuts, but a hair salon.  However, after the letter and conversation I have had, I would simply say that the basic principle in business that "the customer is always right" is not recognized by the management and their inability to handle negative feedback is disappointing.  While I was satisfied with my cut, I communicated other concerns directly about the environment and she simply said, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all."  This business, like thousands of others can be Googled and you will discover mixed feelings about this place.  Some provide positive feedback, while others negative.  Receiving a hair cut is more than a service, it's about making a connection and I didn't feel that here and for this reason I will not return.
