I'm amazed so few people know about this place... even people who live in Redmond.  It's not a small park.

The park has a big meadow just off the main  parking lot (with annoying speedbumps right in the corners, so there's no way to ride over them straight). The field is great for soccer, badminton, or something. Also, there is a great oak tree toward the edge of the field for sitting under and maybe having a picnic.

There's a forest with some short, flat trails. Not more than 1/2 a mile, but the connect with the PSE trail that goes pretty much forever.  Once you cross over the little bridge that leads to the trails, look to the left and there's the road less taken. Take it.

If you're in to horses, there are a least a couple training rings as this is a working farm. It would be a great place to take the kiddos if they've never seen goats, turkeys, and ducks. Etc. Etc.

If you're in the avondale/novelty hill area stop by some day and see what you're missing.
