Fenton Hotel Tavern & Grille

What a great place to dine. Food selections and quality is on point. The old building is in good shape, and fun to look around at. Truly one of my favorites. Definitely worth the extra drive to enjoy this experience.

This my first time at the Fenton Hotel and Tavern for my grandpa's birthday. The room we reserved was pretty cold but the staff were very attentive. The walleye was cooked perfectly but it needed a sauce to go over the fillets. The scalloped potatoes were cubed and didn't have much flavor. Overall the experience was decent and I would go back.

Had the Fish n Chips last night! Questionable at best! The hotel has gone cheap on this item! I'd sway from them. Better for the kids at this high price!

Good all the way around. Great food, great service. Plus the entertainment. Try it you will like it.

Food and drinks have been top-notch every visit.
Ambiance is what you love in that local place that everyone knows your name.
Never had an issue with service at FHTG.

I hosted a baby shower in Fenton Hotel's private room on 3-25-23 and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Everything was perfect! While I was making the initial arrangements a few months ago Nick and Mark were both very accommodating and helped to make the overall planning a breeze. The room was beautifully set when we arrived for our party and our servers, Spencer and Scott, went out of their way to make the festivities flow very smoothly. The food and drinks were delivered promptly and every attention to detail was given making sure that bread, butter, water glasses, and incidentals were available and filled when needed. Spencer and Scott, I send kudos to two genuine and very personable servers who understand the importance of quality service! You both are an asset to your craft!

The food was excellent! My guests were able to pick from a choice of 4 dinner items consisting of a chicken, fish, shrimp, or beef dish, with vegetable, rice, and salad, that I had previously chosen off the available party menu. Every single plate was hot, fresh, delicious, and beautifully plated! Everyone loved it!

I cannot say enough good things about this experience! My family has dined at the Fenton Hotel several times and the consistency of quality food, atmosphere, and THE BEST wait staff has never changed. If you are looking for a venue to host your next gathering that promises excellent food, ambiance, and is reasonably priced, I VERY HIGHLY recommend the Fenton Hotel. They will not disappoint!

So far I have not been disappointed in their food. Great service, friendly staff and food has been exceptional.

We went for the early bird special tonight and left soooo disappointed. We have had a couple good meals in the past but tonight the restaurant smelled like old oil, my beef stroganoff was awful. It was served over basil flavored noodles that were sticky, meat was tough, sauce bland and salty and onions undercooked, just awful. They are out of a featured appetizer, peel and shrimp and would not substitute the shrimp cocktail. That is poor customer service. My husbands appetizer of loaded potato skins were reheated and cold and served without sour cream. Entire meal was a huge disappointment. Will be a long time before we go back. We live in Fenton and prefer to stay local for dinner often

Top of the line, you want a romantic night out, this is the place!
Incredible atmosphere, little pricey but well worth it if you want great food & and great night out!

Food was good. Service was average. Many mainstays and interesting specials. It's in a historical (and maybe haunted) hotel. It's alright spot for a drink or dinner. Be advised the prices are average++
