1 review for Fenton City Park
This is a beautiful park with a ton to offer.
Fenton City Park is massive, almost 100 acres. The trail that loops the outer limits of the park is paved and smooth and nice for pushing a baby stroller through or riding a bike on since they maintain the concrete so well. It isn't long, only about a mile and a half, but the trails meet up with a bunch of different trails that go outside of the park, so you can get in a hearty ride or run...whatever your pick.
There are tennis courts, but they have pretty much been destroyed by the recent floods and currently the nets consists of orange traffic cones...I am sure they will fix this soon since this park is immaculately groomed, but just a forewarning. Also, there a ton of clean bathrooms, softball and soccer fields that are usually filled with adorable little kids playing sports, and a decent playground.
When the Meremac floods this place tends to take the brunt of it, which is sad, but it has the left the grass fertile and beautiful over the years. There's a ton of parking all over the park so you will never have to fight for a spot, and there's basketball courts. Something you will be hard pressed to find anywhere in the city limits.
