Yes, we've all been to Fellini's. This location though is especially special because of it's cute Candler location and lovely patio. Also the staff at this one had slightly less of the 'I'm hipper than thou' vibe than the Ponce location. Don't get me wrong, I'm comfortable with the fact that most of the employees do, in fact, fall higher than I on the hipster scale, but it's nice when they're still friendly.
Aside from that, the pizza here is always a good pizza debate, (a la the same lines of RuSan's and sushi) but a slice I don't mind having at a price I don't mind paying. Especially when you can get broccoli on top and a pitcher of beer.

This is also my favorite Fellini's, especially during the slow times (meaning, empty tables outside, a maximum of five small children wandering about, no line). Ditto the people-watching/neighborhoody feel mentioned by others. And in my experience, this location has the most consistent quality.
Pizza is terribly subjective, and I like different pizza at different times for different reasons. Fellini's is sort of comfort food to me - inexpensive, consistent and satisfying. My standard order is: salad with no mushrooms and balsamic vinaigrette (I pick off half the cheese, so from a conservation standpoint, I should start asking for light cheese), followed by a Fellini's Special slice (huge, with meat & veggies galore). The crust can be a little dry sometimes, but I like to dip it in my BV dressing (there's always a ton leftover - they could probably save a lot of money and wasted dressing by using 2 oz instead of 4 oz containers).

if a pizza place can get more than a 3-star rating from me (a non-pizza person), then chances are its beyond a terrific pizza place. i love the fact that you NOT ONLY can "make your own pizza" choosing from a bevy of great toppings, but that you can choose a one-slice option (either "traditional" or the "sicilian"). genius.
the customized one-slice option is still large enough to share as well. i had spinach, basil, and feta cheese and frankly, it was out of this world.
to be fair though- if youre looking for non-pizza options, fellini's offerings are fairly scant. they do offer one salad (that didnt look that impressive) as well as calzones.
the crowd is very laid back and there are both indoor and outdoor seating options. all in all, a great pizza joint.
I have been to Chicago twice and to the North East only a couple of times, I don't know if I truly know Chicago/NY style pizza. With that being said, I am used to Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Mr Gatti's, Domino's you get the idea and been able to experience some of the local pizza places here in Atlanta.
Well, I think Fellini's is Chicago style pizza? It is thick (and even thicker if you get the Sicilian) and piled with a ton of toppings. Ok not a ton, but 5-10 pounds worth of vegatables, sausage, etc. All in all, I will say it tasted pretty good. On my next visits, I will be selective and opt for one or two toppings. I prefer "little 5 points pizza" and savage pizza a lot better (lighter pizza)", and yes shorty's pizza beats them all by a thin margin.
Oh yea, this location is the Candler park location. Not far from Little 5, not too far from Decatur. It also seems to be clean, casual setting and kid friendly.
Would I recommend Fellini's to others; sure, why not.

Yeah, this is my neighborhood Fellini's. And to me, there is nothing better than my Candler Park location. My boyfriend and I like to ride his Stella up the street to enjoy some tasty vegan calzones and people watch from their newly renovated restaurant and patio.
Before I was vegan this was the place to get the best pizza in town, and we still enjoy it to this day as vegans. The patio is lovely and relaxing, and we enjoy watching our neighbors walk around the nearby shops with their cute dogs. When it's hot outside, be sure to sit next to the fountain- you will be pleasantly sprinkled every here and there! This location, to me, is the best because it's never overly crowded (like the Ponce location), but there are more families here than the Ponce location, so be prepared to hear a few whining kids and see some bohemian parents consoling them. But, that is the Candler Park neighborhood- eclectic and charming! And Fellini's fits right in!

The pizza is a 3 or 3.5, but the ambience (especially if 1) you can walk there, or 2) you have babies in strollers) -- both for me-- pumps it up to a 4. It is also a nice place to just relax on a nice day, have some pizza and beer.
Since it is a pizza place i will talk about the pizza (and not in comparison to places like dominoes- that is no pizza): it is not as good as camelis(4.5*) or savage(4*), but it is good - I like the mushroom and broccoli, and the white pizza w/tomoato best. (And I like meat, but dont love it there...)

Good - not perfect - NY style pizza.
People who work there are really great, and the eatin's cheap. And nothing is better than sitting outside on a nice night and tossing passing dogs your crust.

You can get a huge slice that will fill you up for cheap, but other than that, I don't really see what the big deal is. Mellow Mushroom is my pizza of choice.
Fellini"s Pizza is an Atlanta tradition. I started skipping school (I know, I know..bad me) and visiting the Little Five Points location (no longer exists) while still in high school. I love the "by the slice" offerings.
The recent renovation to the Candler Park location is great. Check out this groovy pizza place in one of Atlanta's coolest neighborhoods (and visit Donna Van Gogh's artist market and the Flying Biscuit's bakery while you're there).

This Fellini's is like a kid's pizza party every weekend. Candler Park families appease their children's pizza fanatacism at Fellinis. It has a big patio and a spacious inside as well. You order at the counter, get a marker and go sit down. When I worked at the biscuit we would unwind after a shift with a pitcher and pizza. The salads are good too, thought they usually have as much cheese as the pizza on them. I'm most fond of Fellini's Sicilian Crust and I love being able to put broccoli on pizza. There's a lovely fountain and you can eat your cheap and large slices outside near it on the brick patio and people watch and dog watch the folks of Candler Park.

fellini's is a classic pizza joint with a nice outdoor patio when the weather is nice.
the memories of when i lived in candler park are mostly good. fellini's pizza at this location was one of my favorites places to fill up on pizza by the slice and pitchers of beer. good sauce and the sausage was the best i had in the atlanta area. the crust while not as thin as i like does get crisp. a definite plus.
the warm summer evenings next to the fountain in a very cool neighborhood is in my past now. i hope to be back someday and look forward to the day i can possibly live in candler park again with my wife. and those warm summer evenings we don't have on the west coast.
