The food is really good and the service is fast and efficient. It's never been the best pizza place I've ever had. Even before I became somewhat of a Foodie. It's solid pizza though and occasionally they'll surprise me with a pie that's a bit better than what I normally get there.
I like the Sicilian style that is thicker crust and unique. It's a bit doughy for my liking but the flavor is there. The ny style pizza which makes up all the other crust styles is tasty as well. They have a large selection of toppings to choose from and most of them are quality ingredients. Overall a solid pizza option with superb prices. -

Good pizza by the slice. Overall a little salty for my taste, but yummy. You can customize a slice and add toppings starting at $2.50, which is cool. The crust is nice and crispy, quite thin.
The staff are friendly not to mention quirky just like the atmosphere. Very casual and a nice local pizza place. -

After a 12-hour day of dance practice and a show, all I wanted was Fellini's pizza. And I went there in fake eyelashes, stage makeup, and a caftan.
Get a couple of slices of pizza for about 4 bucks each. My friend who hates pizza (might be an alien? But I bet aliens would LOVE pizza. With human pepperoni) loves the spinach mushroom. I like a white and a Fellini's special. With a giant cold Coke.
I always go to the one on Ponce. It's open until 2 am during the week and on Saturdays, and until midnight on Sundays.
The atmosphere: extremely casual and very chill. Lots of tattoos. Lots of dates. Lots of families (who scatter when the nightman cometh). -

This Fellinis location is awesome! Great pizza, great beer. Always delicious. I like getting a slice of pineapple and a slice of cheese. They are busy on a Saturday night but don't make you wait too long. I also know that their calzones are great and quite large! Best place in town for beer and pizza by the slice!

Review from Sandra F.
The pizza is really delicious here! I got the white pizza which I though I wouldn't like because I'm not a huge fan of Ricotta cheese. It was very delicious and not overwhelming. The crust is just right (I'm more thin crust, but their crust is alittle thicker). Pricing is reasonable.
You get your order fast and the staff is really nice. This Fellinis is clean and great atmosphere. -
Review from Tom E.
I love leaving the Clermont Lounge and knowing I can find some of Atlanta's best pizza right down the street. This phenomenon embraced me last night.
Still a nice crowd for 1:30A... Got the usual- some beer and a pepperoni calzone. Friendly cashier, good prices, and the cheese and use of garlic is great- some of the better ny style pizza around.
The great thing is- there are many Fellini's, and they are all consistent- a hard find! -
Review from David K.
People make coming here awesome. The building itself is pretty unassuming. The interior obviously hasn't been upgraded in any way for a decade or more. The food is standard pizza place fare. But man, the employees hustle.
Lunch seems to start earlier and last longer than most places. Despite the crowd they're able to work the line quickly and everything is served up in less than 10 minutes.
Like everyone else, I love the house salad and creamy Italian dressing. I'm also a sucker for a good slice of pepperoni, which they have here. -
Review from Sara C.
I admit I am very weird when I go here. I usually stop by on the fly to get one of their house salads to go. In addition to it only being $4.50, it is ready fast and one of the best salads I've found around town. It comes with romaine and iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and really good, thick-shredded mozzarella cheese. Both the balsamic vinaigrette and creamy Italian dressings seem to be made in house and are quite tasty.
I have had the pizza as well. It is doughy and pretty decent -- and one perk about eating here is that you can buy by the slice and put a number of different toppings on your slice or whole pizza. But do try the salads, whether with your pie or as a main meal. -
Review from Jackie H.
I love me some Fellini's pizza. I almost always get with a veggie slice when I visit this place and it never fails to deliver. It's hot right out of the oven and delicious! I get a kick out of the employees as I find them quite interesting to observe doing their thing. Conservative lookin, they are not!!!! Along with the pizza, I really enjoyed the music last night...to the point where I had to bust a move at my table. But that's nothing because the little girl at the next table got so crunk up by a Stevie Wonder tune that she stood up and did the wave, boo! Then she brought it back, took it down and brought it back up. Whoop! Whoop! (Imma calm down now).
Okay, I like Fellini's Pizza. -

I am a pretty big fan of those eating/traveling shows on Discovery, the Food Network and The Travel Channel, and how Fellini's missed being on one of them, I'll never know! A co-worker and friend of mine was taking us on a (literal) 'cook's tour' of Midtown/Virginia Highlands/Downtown, and the conversation during the trip turned to the time we stayed in Virginia Highlands and ate at what was once one of the top five pizza places in town, The Mellow Mushroom. That's when Richard, my buddy, not only told us about Fellini's, but took us there!
First of all, it's the kind of retro "funky cool" place I love to 'discover.' My guess is that the restaurant is a converted firehouse, (the biggest "window" in the place with the panes of glass in it looks like the sliding door that opens up into the main bay for the trucks, so that's how I guessed.)
But it could be a converted CRACK-HOUSE for all we knew or cared, so long as the food was good. And it was INCREDIBLE - pizza good enough to make your mama smack HER mama! And along with cold Sam Adams on tap (for my other half and Richard, since I'm not really a beer drinker), and more-than-reasonable prices for all of it, you couldn't ask for any better.
And talk about individuals? The wait and kitchen staff of THIS place make the folks over at the Flying Biscuit Cafe look like a bunch of lab-grown automatons. The dress and the attitude is a hipster mishmash of every influence of everything from ROCKY HORROR to CRYBABY to I LOVE LUCY, and I was most definitely diggin' it! Watching them call-and-respond to orders, cruise the dining room dropping off food and drinks and picking up plates and bop along to the eclectic tunes pouring out of the speakers - Cowboy Junkies one minute, Ozark Mountain Daredevils the next - was a great source of entertainment all by itself.
Fellini's is not just another place we will love coming back to on our next Atlanta visit, but a place we wish we could clone and transplant back to "Old Virginny"! -
Review from Jen C.
Fellinis has become my go-to slice haven. They're quick, satisfying, cheap and super convenient. They're giant coke refills make me happier (an hyper-er?) than a clam.
My one gripe here is that their full pies aren't nearly as good as they're slices. I couldn't tell you what theyre doing differently, but the full sizers just taste...off. Ive had this happen to me at several pizza places. Not sure what's up with that.Listed in: Pizza Pizza

Had a slice there last week for the first time in years. I believe it was the Fellini special with a ton of toppings. I really enjoyed it. I may have to put Fellini's back on my list for a quick bite to eat.

The pizza snobs can hate all they want, I love Fellini's. My order? A salad, hold the olives with a slice of spinach and feta and the perfect fountain Diet Coke. All for under $10. It's the lunch/dinner/late night meal of champions, and it feels like a guilty pleasure even though the caloric content isn't as absurdly high as other options.
Service is always friendly, the place is clean, and I love the patio at this location. I've been coming here for years and years, and I don't see that changing any time soon.Listed in: Quality 'za., Ponce de Leon.

I love Felini's Pizza! The Hawaiian with ham and pineapple is my usual. One slice fills me up. Add a drink and my total is still only $5. You cannot beat that price for a midtown meal. I love the fact that they stay open late. On Friday and Saturday nights this place definitely has that bar vibe.

Review from Mick D.
Pizza and Beer! What else do you need? Fellini's has been serving up a fine Atlanta tradition of good pizza for years. In many ways, this is everything good pizza should be: hand-crafted dough, tasty sauce, fresh toppings, even Sicilian slices.
And it's cheap!
But look, I gotta tell ya: this is good pizza, but it's not going to be like the "authentic NY pizza" you had back home. This is good pizza, but it's not the brick-oven gourmet thing you had when you were in Italy. This is good pizza, but it's not going to be served to you with white-napkin service and fine china. Think "no frills" and you're on target. Because look, I gotta tell ya: this is good pizza. Capice, y'all?
Staff is fast. And friendly. My favorite thing: a slice of Sicilian with mushrooms and onions. But sometimes a calzone is really what hits the spot. Or the White Pizza. If you get the White Pizza, get the whole pie. Buying White Pizza by the slice means you're getting a regular slice of cheese (with red-sauce) with white pizza toppings.
Pizza is served directly to your table, and if you hit it off right with your servers, they'll procure the next round of beers for you without making you stand in line all over again. (Soft drinks are bottomless, BTW.) And there's a salad on the menu--one size fits all--for those of you that need a little roughage with your pie.
This particular Fellini's has a very large, outdoor seating area. And they're open late (usually 2am), in case you're out and about and have a craving.Listed in: Pizza Places, No Frills Dining Favorites

It doesn't hold a candle to Antico's, but it's fine. Nice patio. I don't quite understand the theory behind dumping toppings on a pizza after its been baked, but I guess that saves time. Hallmark of a lesser pizza joint, although in my book that still means a lot.

I met up with a friend here to work on some story ideas. Nothing gets the mental juices flowing better than pizza and beer. When you walk in you'll immediately notice the very relaxed atmosphere. The service was really quick and on the slices were quite hefty.
I had a white pizza slice while my buddy had a special slice. The crust was crispy with a nice flavor all by itself and you could taste the ingredients. Two slices each with 2 pitchers of Blue Moon was still pretty reasonable. I was stuffed to the gills and pleasantly buzzed.
If you're going to hang with friends and shoot the shit this place is stellar. I can only imagine how packed their patio gets. -

Fellini's is a great, casual place for a relaxed meal of relatively inexpensive but good pizza. Large portions. Excellent sweet tea and decent beer options. Patio is awesome - a signature of all Fellini's. I like the vibe of the place and have been and will be back many times.
The day I visited, they had a "C" (76) rating. Cleanliness has never been a strong suit. -

East Point, GA
I don't care for Fellini's. Yes, I'm the one. But I get how people like it because Fellini's was here in the beginning, when people were just starting to creep into the Highlands and there just weren't that many choices.
But their pizza is average and the service is spotty at best. Mainly, my encounters have been with grumpy priviledged emo kids who think it's cool to be a turd to customers.
The patio is nice, but that's about it. You'll find me at Savage or Camelli's or Rosa's or Oz in East Point. -

Manhattan, NY
The USDA recently anointed pizza as the Osama Bin Laden of bad food. And yet I know that when I get a pizza craving, nothing will prevent me from having my favorite food--not my foodie pretensions, not my doctor's hectoring, not the post-consumption malaise, and not the rude shock my scale gives me in the morning.
That said, I do wish the service at Fellini's were a little better. The register girl, she of bowl-cut bangs, does not seem to know the words, "Hello," "What can I get you?" or "Thanks!" She is expert at giving you a cold, glazed-over stare, however.
She almost made me forswear Fellini's, but alas, my pizza craving cannot be denied. -

I personally think that anywhere i can eat one slice of pizza and a salad and be completely full for the rest of the night is perfectly fine with me. Every time I go back, I love this place just a little bit more. It's the perfect spot to grab take out or just kick back on the porch with friends.
Go. it's worth it. -

Overrated yes. But I can't deny how tasty the pizza is here. Nice place to hang out and get some good pizza and beer.

The signature Fellini's slice is HUGE but delicious. Last night I returned for a sausage, mushroom and broccli calzone and it was enormous and super tasty.
They also have great beers on tap and you can always expect a lively atmosphere. Great late night spot! -

Not much to say, but sometimes that's a good thing. In this case, I can sum up Fellini's in a few simple phrases:
1. Tasty, inexpensive pizza by the slice.
2. Pizza + beer + patio = My kind of afternoon.
3. A staple for late-nights on Ponce.
4. The white pie is bangin'. -
Review from Betsy L.
Cheap lunch. I had a slice and a drink for under $5. Gotta love it. Patio was very nice but it was a little too hot for that today. Not Fellini's fault of course.

This place has fully won me over and I will be back many many many many times I'm sure. The pizza is REDICULOUSLY TASTY! and they have Fat Tire which is a great beer on tap. They also have a ton of outdoor seating. Me and my furry little friend loved it overall.
There are no tvs so no game watching.
Definetly good for kids and big groups.
go and enjoi :D -

My favorite pizza joint in Atlanta. If it was closer to us we'd go once a week. Its as close to NY as you can get south of the Mason Dixon Line.
By far the best part of their pizza is the cheese. I don't know what they use but I can honestly say no other pizzeria I've tried in Atlanta comes close to the flavor in this whole milk mozz. -
Review from Rick F.
I'm a pizza connoisseur...If I say so myself! LOL! Enough about me, what do you think of me! HA! HA!
Staff very friendly and efficient. Restaurant very dirty, patio cool to sit and enjoy the people watching but again very dirty, patio furniture lacks style, the entire place seems as if someone ignored creating an environment to compliment the food concept.
Pizza is above average, I enjoyed it! Couple of things to help improve it.
1) Keep it in the oven about another minute or two!
2) Get an Italian Sausage with a little more fat content and add caraway seeds, then grind it up and spread generously on the pizza.
3) Flavor in every bite is critical to the entire experience. -

I have been to Fellini's Pizza twice. Each time I think I always got there at least an hour after the party I was sitting with had arrived. Arriving late always left me in a situation that forced me to not order fresh pizza because they had some slices left that were cold, but pretty tasty. I am sure that their food would have been even tastier if I had not decided to be a cheap mooch and just order my own fresh slices.
The patio section is very large and always interesting. Usually if you arrive at this location around 10:00 or 11:00 on Friday or Saturday you can expect to hear some live acoustic performances by some mediocre cover artists; however, if you embrace my philosophy of consuming alcohol while they perform, the music always seems to become progressively better with each beer.
The bar on the inside is double-sided, with one bartender facing the patio, and the other facing the tables on the inside of the restaurant. So you can always be sure that you will get a drink without having to wait an unusually long amount of time. -

I'm giving this a 4/5 stars. Why, because I've come to terms with pizza in Atlanta. When it comes to pizza I always compare any pizza to New York Pizza, not NY STYLE pizza, but pizza from New York. Realizing that NY Style Pizza doesn't quite grasp the exact ingredients that make NY Pizza so amazing I've decided to stop comparing the two.
While Fellini's doesn't quite call themselves NY Style, they do have a lot of similarities. Nonetheless, the pizza was good, the crowd was pleasant, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the seating was roomy.
We sat outside on the large patio and people comfortably lingered after their meal. Nobody felt rushed, and everyone was deeply involved with their company. Nice place to go eat with one or more friends. You'll be happy with what you order.
Cheers!

I missed my dinner due to my nice-long napping. I fell asleep at 2 p.m. and now it is 10 p.m. Thus, I'm reeeaaallly hungry. Miserable. Even more miserably, I don't have anything to cook at home. In this case, I need to go to Kroger (the greatest 24 hour grocery market near home; well, it is the greatest because it's 24 hours) and buy some Hot Pocket. I have to be real careful about picking the "good" Hot Pocket from other Hot Pocket. Then go home, microwave it and eat like a dog.
Hold on...
It is far more interesting to go to Fellini's Pizza. One pack of Hot Pocket costs as much as two slices of Fellini's Sicilian Pizza! A minute later, I go to Fellini's Pizza and order Sicilian Pizza with jalapenos, fresh garlic and pineapple (they are my favorite combo that my girlfriend and I created!!). Five minutes later, a plateful of pizza comes out (really big), and I happily engulf the food vigorously.
Hot Pocket had been my best friend during my exam period. But my life during exam period has been changed ever since I met Fellini's Sicilian pizza. Sicilian pizza is a thick, thicker than normal, crusted pizza. I personally prefer thin crust pizza but this one is whole another story. Even though it is thick, the bottom of pizza is crispy which makes pizza more tasty. I used to go to Mellow Mushroom or Everybody's whenever I felt like eating pizza, but I actually prefer Fellini's Pizza over Mellow Mushroom. Everybody's is another story though. Like I said, I originally like thin-crusted pizza. Everybody's has the best thin crust pizza so, I get always torn between Everybody's and Fellini's.
I only talked about Sicilian pizza but that is not the only choice, they actually have variety of pizza as well as thin crust pizzas. It is just that my personal favorite is Sicilian pizza and I don't think many people will argue about it. The restaurant significantly has large outdoor seating, and when the weather is nice, majority of people prefers to sit outside.
Living in Atlanta for more than a year now, the best late night dining restaurant, in my opinion, is definitely Fellini's Pizza. It gets me out of my misery!!Listed in: Night Owls Camp

I used to be a huge fan of Fellini's until I tried Savage and switched over. I still have Fellini's once in awhile, but the frequency has declined in contrast to my increased Savage consumption.
Fellini's piles on the cheese and toppings on most of their pies, sometimes to the point where you can't lift a slice without it falling apart. It's a little too much, in other words.
The patio here is nice, but avoid the seats at the very edge right next to Ponce. You're likely to get hit up for cash from the guys from the homeless shelter across the street. -

Very good for a local, non chain pizza joint, you have to agree.
Cheese so perfectly gooey, sauce so savory and sweet.
Arrives so hot and piping fresh you'll cheer with glee.
Options here are abundant, from vegetarian to meat.
We had the cheese, and pepperoni with basil, although not free.
Many people from the street, so it was tough finding a seat.
The patio was closed, since there was borderline sleet.
Pizza kinda greasy, now my stomach kinda hates me.
Its ok though, I'll go hurry to go back to go to eat. -
Review from Lauren S.
I used to think it was stupid to review multiple locations of one restaurant but then I was like, "wait, lots of times one location is better than the other, or has different things about it that can change a review." In this case, yes. So after eating here again this week, I decided I would review this one too, in addition to the already written review for my old standby on Howell Mill.
Actual Building & Atmosphere - 4 stars, they've got a huge patio and it has a lovely fountain that at night on that perfect fall day, is a good spot to hang.
Business Hours - 5 stars, open till 2AM?! Excellent. I frequently eat way too late, so I enjoy places that are open this late.
Actual Pizza - somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I am always disappointed in the veggie pizza at this location. If you've ever had veggie at Peachtree or Howell Mill locations, this one falls a little.....flat. The veggies are always a little overcooked rather than crisp and fresh with gobs of melty cheese like the other two locations.
Overall - 4 stars. I like the atmosphere and hours of this place, I just need to quit ordering the veggie there, it can't compete. -

Mediocre pizza and salads with a great patio (for the area).
If you care more about being seeing & being seen than the food than this place fits the bill.. otherwise go to Savage and get some good pizza. -
Review from Jeremy A.
I wasnt impressed with Fellinis. Ill admit that I have a pretty high standard for pizza and maybe we caught them on a bad night but it wasn't very good.
The pizza was pretty soggy and very doughy, im not sure how its possible to make a Pizza that has these attributes but maybe thats why im not in the pizza business.
I can only think that maybe it was undercooked, but all things considered I dont think i will be back except to maybe try one of their calzones.
Bums me out, I really wanted this place to be good since its so close to my house. -
Review from Jada G.
I really didn't have an affinity for this place until more recently. I love that they sell slices at all times during the day. I absolutely love their house dressing and simply adore their patio. But $7 for a slice of cheese pizza and a side salad? Seriously?
