If you're the type of person that enjoys waiting in line for 30 minutes to ship a package, then this is the place for you. Chronically understaffed with only a single person working the counter, you will always have to wait in line for a while at this Fedex location unless you avoid peak times. You could, of course, just fill out the forms and leave your box (as I do), but I can't help but notice all the unhappy looks of customers waiting in line.

Longgggggggggggggg wait all the time! I have to go to this location on a regular basis for work related things and without fail...there is always a wait.
Fed Ex opens at 9am and I have learned my lesson to not get there right at 9 otherwise I will be standing in line for at least 20 mins. So I wait a little while and try and arrive about 9:30am when the line has died down....but it really dosen't help that much. The staff is friendly (especially Kathleen--she knows me by name and gets me in and out quickly!) but its pretty obnoxious that this location only has ONE person working the whole front desk of the warehouse. There will be a line out the door and maybe...just maybe they will call another person but when that person comes out, they look annoyed and pissed to even be bothered. Ugh!
So like what Frank says....."If you're the type of person that enjoys waiting in line for 30 minutes to ship a package, then this is the place for you".
FedEx has provided a rather large nuisance for me.
I received a door tag from the first attempt of package delivery. I called requesting that the second attempt be made after 2:30, as apparently the shipper required that I must sign for the package personally.
Phone service was great, I was not put on hold and my questions were answered, however they told me there was no guarantee that the request would be fulfilled.
Indeed it wasn't. However I stayed home in the afternoon waiting for my package, as there was no door tag indicating they had already come for the day.
Today is day 3, so now I have to go pick the package up from the office, since they couldn't deliver at a convenient time. My door tag says I can pick up my package after 3 pm.
After standing in line for 15 minutes (behind only 2 customers...service was horribly slow with only one person behind the counter) I am told that the drivers don't return from their routes until after 5. So now I have to make a second trip down there after 6:30 tonight.
Apparently I should have put a "hold for pickup" on the package so it could be available for me today and they would not have attempted delivery again. However nowhere did anyone or the door tag tell me this!
I am trying not to be biased, as the biggest nuisance in all this was created by the shipper's instructions, but Fed Ex's service has not been good. The representatives I spoke to were not friendly, seemed to be in no rush despite the growing line, and I did not receive any notification of secondary delivery attempts, and it's rather ruined my plans for two days. It seems to me that the recipient should be able to leave delivery instructions that take precedence over the shipper's. At the very least, they could take in consideration time requests.
