Yes. It's a chain restaurant .... But it's a pretty good chain restaurant. The portions are large, the prices are decent and they have a nice atmosphere.

FATZ® is a contemporary, casual restaurant that provides quality, craveable food in an environment that feels like home. FATZ menus feature chicken, pasta, steaks, ribs, and seafood as well as salads, soups, sandwiches and burgers, specialty drinks, and a Lite Side under 550 calories. Specialty entrees are both traditional and new American, prepared with a twist. FATZ also offers special menus for kids, those over 50 years young, lunch time and Sunday dinners.
Home of warm, friendly service, the staff at FATZ® believe that customer service and guest satisfaction are the most important part of every meal. FATZ® employees strive to learn the name of every guest that walks through the door and continue to turn guests into regulars.
History
Established in 1988
FATZ® is a contemporary, casual restaurant that provides quality, craveable food in an environment that feels like home. The first FATZ® started in a converted peach shed in Spartanburg, S.C. in November of 1988. FATZ® was founded with principles to secure a convenient location, develop a varied, reasonably-priced menu and offer ample portions of quality food while providing upbeat service in a comfortable atmosphere.
The ideals that emerged from that shed all those years ago still stand strong today in every FATZ® location across the Southeast. Home of warm, friendly service, the staff at FATZ® believe that customer service and guest satisfaction are the most important part of every meal. FATZ® employees strive to learn the name of every guest that walks through the door and continue to turn guests into regulars.
FATZ® has grown to 48 restaurants across the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia, allowing more folks across the Southeast to find their "home away from home."
