OK, where do I begin? Fatso's has been around for a very long time. Like most sports themed restaurants you have your share of flat panel TVs all over the place and bench seating. It's simple and it works. Fatso's has your typical drink specials and their food selection is good. Nothing to write home about but it's good.

So what makes this place so damn special? Ah ha! I'm so glad you asked. If you sneak into the rear of the building you'll observe a plethora (I love using that word) of sand volleyball courts. Just like their old location over by Bandera Rd. this new location also has sand courts. How f'ing cool is that! You can get a few of your buddies and sign up for league. This is an awesome way to meet new friends and oogle the woman that wear the short SHORT shorts. Not that I would ever do that.

Do I recommend this place? Without a doubt. Even if the food is mediocre at best you can't pass this place up if you're a sports fan. Like I said before, get a few of your buds and check out the volleyball.
