Fatso's moved in to the space next to Pizza Luce last fall, and probably has yet to get to its full potential.  I'm glad to see it's still around.  First of all, at a place called Fatso's, please do not order the quesadilla, no matter how vegetarian you are.  My dining partners and I were all more than satisfied with our burgers, however the quesadilla left a little to be desired.

Fatso's offers a few different burgers - Pizza, Bacon Cheese, etc, but I really prefer getting the "mini," which isn't really that mini.  I think the seasoned fries are better than the sweet potato fries, but I'm also not much for sweet potatoes.

I'd love to see this place get a killer happy hour - cheap cheap beer with appetizer specials.  Fatso's - you listening?  :)

Naming a bar Fatso's is a pretty risky step.  Women, in general, do not like to be associated with places whose name conjures up images of fat, blubber, bellies, or barnyard animals.   It's true, and if you don't believe me you can ask almost any woman how she feels about Potbelly's or the Dress Barn.

That said, with a name like Fatso's, the food better be good, the atmosphere better be inviting, and the place better be rockin' to get women to want to come out and play.   Luckily, Fatso's is all those things and more.

The specialty of the house seems to be meat on meat on meat.  There is the Chili Burger, which is pretty much what it sounds like. there is also a Breakfast Burger, which was egg and bacon on a burger.   And of course my favorite,  a Barnyard Burger which was a hamburger, ham, bacon, and a chicken breast on a bun.   Yep.  All your favorite barnyard animals on one tasty bun.

If you are really really really really hungry Fatso's serves a FOUR POUND Fatso Burger.  And if you eat it in less than 30 minutes you get a teeshirt.  And  a heart attack.

Bottom Line:  Fatso's had great burgers, a hip atmosphere, and above and beyond fantastic service.   Check em out.
