I don't know that this existed when I was in college.  If it did, I didn't care.  If I went I don't remember.

On a night where I was inexplicably drawn back to my old stomping ground across the street, the EVil (East Village for people who haven't read everything I've ever written and committed it to memory), even though I was well past the age that I needed to be seen there on a Friday night; I was introduced to Farm House.

Even more stuffed to the gills with the college crowd than the bar I had just left, I was assured that the pizza here was good for what ailed me since what ailed me was that I had consumed to much alcohol in to small an amount of time.

Let it be known that this pizza isn't just normal pizza.  A normal pizza is meant to be enjoyed on its own merit.  A normal pizza is dinner.  This, like a trip to the Waffle House, is preventative hangover pizza.  I got my game back that very night (not my facilities, but I had stopped whining about what too much alcohol did to me) and woke up for what should have been a rough morning completely happy to be alive.

    Good on ya, Farm House.

Typical college hang out type bar, with an atypically great pizza! Although the crowd is often age 21 and under, the Farmhouse doesn't typically get too rowdy. They make a great pizza with a very tasty thin crust.

If you go in late, expect it to be somewhat crowded and you might have to wait a bit for your pie to get there, but it's worth the wait. While its not quite as good as what you might find at Mellow Mushroom, it is delicious and certainly one of the better Pizzas in the area.

All in all, a nice, casual place to grab a pie and a few beers.  Expect a college age crowd and a decent beer selection.
