Yeah, it's Roswell, but still.  It sucked.  They did have Sierra Nevada, though we spent most of our pre-mealtime debating whether or not we should send it back because it didn't taste like Sierra.  Or maybe it tasted the way stale Sierra would taste if it were served in pint glasses that hadn't been completely rinsed of soap.  That sort of discussion.  Eventually we gave up and ignored the problem.

Don't eat here.  Their menu is a land-mine of unhealthy food not worth the fat or the calories or the sodium you'll endure.  Go try one of the local mexican eateries instead.  At least they'll probably cough up good chips and salsa and you won't have to worry about Sierra because you'll be drinking bad mexican beer out of a bottle, like god intended.

I mean.....its Roswell for Gods sake. What can I say? Given the limited number of legal things to do, its not a bad place. Food is at best average, but they do have a decent selection of beer. Pool tables are open pretty much all the time, if not, a little wait. On a Friday or Saturday night, its the only place in town to see some respectable girls.

The travel guide review that we read on this place stated that it was a place "where people threw peanut shells on the floor and screamed at the TV".  It sounded interesting so we went.

There wasn't much screaming at the TVs (which is what we were most looking forward to) but there were huge sacks of peanuts from which you could help yourself and then chuck the shells.  If you don't have a maid (I don't) and want to simulate what it'll be like when you are old and don't have too much control over things it's kind of fun.

Our favorite part of the meal was the shrimp appetizer...1 lb of shrimp on ice!  I had a sauce-less basil pizza and my date had a salad.  Sort of boring but it tasted good.  Overall the food appears to have the "step up from pub grub" theme although there is plenty of pub group to go around.  There's a huge patio where you can sit and enjoy the Roswell evening and keep your eye on the sky for any "visitors".  Ours ended up being a drunk guy named Dave from Houston but your mileage may vary.
