Beautiful, historic, top-rated Inn right off Exit 250.

We stayed one night here, and it was memorable indeed. The vintage looking library on the first floor provided hours of entertainment and comfort.

The rooms were simple and tasteful, the beds and pillows very comfortable, and the electric fireplace in room was a nice touch.
The icing on the cake would have been a big Jacuzzi bathtub-
the tubs/showers were clean and nice but very small.

The concierge were all friendly, and really made you feel like you were staying in their home as an honored guest.

Nice complimentary spread of continental breakfast items and GREAT coffee in the morning. Take your coffee to go in the paper cup and go for a morning stroll after your breakfast, there is a walking trail that starts right at the Inn's main entrance.

Located right across from the Green, and a prime location for a day of shopping and taking in the views of Fairhaven.

I will return for sure.

The Village Inn is located in the historic Fairhaven District of Bellingham, Wa. We loved it!! The Inn is a boutique hotel with 22 rooms. The staff could not have been more helpful in giving us guidance into restaurants and information about driving into Vancouver, Canada. Our room was gorgeous, with 2 queen beds that were so comfortable and a fireplace. We had a view of the bay and the dock where the ferries to Alaska depart. The sunsets in the evening were amazing. The Inn offers a continental breakfast each morning, waffles, rolls, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The parking was safe, especially since we were traveling with bikes on the back of the vehicle. The Inn has a library room to curl up with a good book, and the second floor offers an outdoor patio with views of the water. Located within walking distance of quaint shops and plenty of cafes and restaurants. One morning we got up and walked the path to the boardwalk over the water for a bit, along the shore where old Salmon canneries once stood. You can see the remnants of the canneries, and read of the history of the area. Continuing on to the park, we got a cup of coffee at Wood's coffee.

This is definitely the kind of hotel to put your parents up in when they're in town.
But with that said I have stayed here a few times and I have to say it is very nice. The actual hotel and the rooms are very clean and the bed is super comfortable. They also have a sitting room with a fireplace, comfortable couches, with books and games for your liking.
I live here in Bellingham now but if I didn't I would only stay in this hotel when I visited.
