Maybe it deserves five stars for the market its going after, but I'll keep the 5 star ratings at bay for now.

Significantly cheaper than staying at the Canyon Rim, we found it really wasn't inconvenient at all.  Sure its almost an hour from the rim, but the drive is pretty, and you have to drive that last hour either way, so why not do it in the morning rather than at night?

The rooms were clean and nice for the price.  But its a very simple hotel, mostly just a bed to sleep in.

My favorite part about the hotel though was their complimentary breakfast!  Better than the usual continental we're all used to.  They had a waffle iron, and Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwiches.  Sure its not haute cuisine, but perfect for stuffing your face prior to a long day of hiking the canyon.

If your going to the canyon for only a day, I highly recommend spending the night here.  Half the price and really, just as convenient.
