4 stars, but would be 5 if it weren't for it being so far removed from everything. If you don't have a car, you are screwed for there is nothing nearby that you can walk to.
But, the place is very clean and well taken care of. The shower is amazing. The bed is okay (firm). The desk chair is one of the nicest I have ever seen in a hotel. A/C unit is quiet. And the rest is the normal hotel-grade stuff.
The area surrounding it is really quiet.
Irecommend it those driving through, but not for tourists coming to St. Louis, for it out in the most boring part of the city.
This hotel just recently moved to all flat screen TVs - not high def though so they really only look sharp aesthetically. There really aren't many food options super close by. There are a lot of restaurants a short drive away but you certainly can't walk to anything. It's right off of 44 and is super close to 270. Same breakfast as all Fairfield Inns.
